Got so much to do really have no energy, don't know where to start!

Wish the weather would brighten up, so i can catch back up with the washing and drying.

DH has had to sort his car out this morning £80 down but out of savings, so not feeling too bad about it. Got mot & car tax end in may so that will be another £240, just hope the car passes.

Had Gammon grills, pineapple, green beans & new pots for lunch will just have a sandwich for tea. Kids will have turkey jetters, potato waffles & beans for their tea.

Really need to get motivated and do something before getting the kids from school.

So tired after staying up to watch most of the election results. Need an early night tonight.

Took the kids to school, got petrol & went shopping this morning. Now have about £4 left till 21st lol. Will need to get milk and apples! otherwise all meals planned until then.

Need to do some house work but i'm sure it will wait until tomorrow, Aunt Fo arrived this morning as well so i think thats making me feel tired too.

Pizza, chips & savoury rice for tea.

Nothing else on the money front. Will have a look at the bank on monday & see where we are at.

But have lots of things we need to go to this month so its going to be tight and wont be able to save anything or pay off american express which i'm not happy about. trying to ebay a few things to save up some money for daughters b-day in july.

So all in all feeling a bit flat today.

  • Hi Kerron
I hadn't seen your diary before so have read it and wanted to say 'hi'. It sounds like your life is very tiring with 4 children and debt busting, but keep it up... you'll get there. Have you looked at the snowballing calculator? It is really good as you plug in all the amounts you owe, and the interest rates, and how much you can pay a month, then it shows you different scenarios if you pay different things off first. Say if you haven't and I'll find the link. It calculated that we would be out of debt by the autumn this year the first time I did it, and so we beat it!

It was mentioned somewhere about food shopping being the only area left that had any possible room to wriggle - those weren't the words used :rotfl:but the general gist.. I'm not sure if it was you or one of your readers who mentioned it. I don't know if you've been to the OS board which has some fab recipes - helped me enormously (although I only had 3 children and they were older)? Also there is a site clicky written by people on MSE which gives ideas for meal planning, with associated recipes and shopping lists which might help.

    Hope things feel better soon...

Just lost my post so a quick one will have to do.

Thanks CBM will have a look at the calc, the OS board is fab. Have been shopping around a lot, think its costing me more in petrol going shop to shop though lol.

Need to pay a couple of min payments today if i can find my bank card!

Not sure what i'm doing for tea yet, am dieting again! Have lost 2lbs since mon so quite pleased.

Gas payments have gone up £35 a month, reduced elec by £5 still £30 extra to find a month arghhh.

Have put 3 things on to sell, 1 selling at the moment the other 2 have watchers so fingers crossed. Would like to make £25 profit from these really, will have £65ish in paypal then only another £35 to go!

    Think thats all for now!

  • Hi Kerron
Ouch to the increase in gas. I hope your sales (ebay?) items fetched what you wanted, its a good way of making some extra money isn't it.

I found the address for the snowballing calculator if you haven't already found it, its http://www.makesenseofcards.com/snowcalc.html . You just plug in the amounts owing and interest rates, and what you think you can afford a month, and it shows how you can pay it off most effectively.

    Cheers

Thanks CMB off to have a look in a min x

Yes ouch to the gas they said they will review in 6 mths, will contact them in three though.

Didn't make as much as i would have liked in the end it was just over £20 with all fees taken out, but better than nothing. Should have about £60 now. So only £30 till i have enough to buy her big present. Would also like make enough to pay for her party which will be about £65. Have put another 3 items on with 2 of them having 2 watchers each.

Nothing else really on the money front apart from having to renew my photo on driving licence which was £20.

    Hi,

She will be 10, she wants a netball post so about £100 for one with a heavy duty base, she already has one which you fill with sand or water but they are not brilliant to be honest. She has had a bike as an early b-day present so she gets some use out of it and i have a few things saved she can open on the day. DS2 birthday is before hers so need 2 get a couple of bits for him already have a few things put away.

DH will have done about 25hrs OT, at the end of the month so am going to put it away for our spending money for hols in aug already have about £80 saved so with this should have enough.

Still paying min on cards just need to get through the next couple of months which are the most expensive for us then hopefully start paying a bit more off them. As long as i don't put anything else on the cc's i'm quite happy. Not touched them since Dec yay!
