Limits or tesco on Cosmos and Virgin, don't panic buy

Bullshot you are either Terry Leahy in disguise or you have extremely low expectations. As I said previously, I shopped at Tesco for many years until recently but owing to the poor quality of meat in particular I swithched to Sainsburys. I find the quality of their produce and service far superior and I would never go back to Tesco even though it is closer.
To answer your question Sainsbury's certainly do care what their customers think. If you saw the recent Channel 4 programme I'm Running Sainsbury's you would have seen they take the issue very seriously. If you like Tesco that's your perogative but it is a fact that they are one of the most disliked organisations in the UK.
ryan i couldnt agree more, our tesco in CHESTERFIELD has to be the worst shop in our area for customer service,i dont know were they get the staff from its full of dragons that look at you like dirt and teenagers that would rather chat to each other than serve the customers, sainsburys on the other hand is great the staff are lovely and couldnt be more helpful, the food quality is also far superior0 -

If we are naming and shaming, Portsmouth Crasswell street is a disgrace, I have never received such bad service as in this store, the customer service stinks and a lot of the staff act as if you should not bother them and never want to help you, this isn't just hearsay as I have done quite a few mystery shops at tesco but the staff are by far the rudest in this store and if you want to use coupons they make it as awkward as possible. No one seems happy here unlike the asda stores where staff go out of their way to help0 -

Oceana and ventura in the P&O fleet are marketed as their family friendly ships and have just changed their dress code rules to make it more informal.
Although I haven't been on an Ocean Village cruise I have heard that their are lots of extras on board to pay for, on P&O just about everything except alcohol is included.
I am also looking forward to sailing from Southampton with P&O so no flights or baggage restrictions. I sail on the Ventura next July, I have cruised before but not with P&O - I have been asking lots of questions on P&Os cruise forum though.:j
Just to add my daughter is 8 and I have put her into a kids club on holiday but I have heard great things about the clubs for children on P&O that I will try it out, she can't wait to get rid of us lol.0 -
Can't seem to find a 2010 Brochure for Cosmos. (Ideally paper version mailed rather than pdf but either would do!) Anyone?0

Hi
I thought about using my tesco vouchers for a cruise, but was not sure what price I would be quoted. Can I be cheeky and ask what P & O charged you and for how long your cruise was for?:o Did you get a quote without using the vouchers and how did it compare?0 -
I'm off next week on a Virgin deal. Just a week and it would have been within the £700 limit. However when I booked I checked the current internet price without going through the dedicated phone number and it was the price I was quoted when I did. Are there cheaper prices as I didn't feel that I had to pay a higher nominal price? The only proviso they imposed was that you couldn't use rewards to pay the taxes and fuel component. If this is still the case then the £700 limit might be a bit more flexible than some think as you have to pay some in cash anyway0

See this reply that was posted to my thread on Trip Advisor.
"If you have £800 of tesco vouchers you may be wise to wait until 1st Sept before booking. The woman at cosmos told me that from then they will be giving discount to anyone with vouchers, you will no longer have to pay the full brochure price."
Has anyone heard about this - I hope not as I have just booked my holiday at brochure prices!!0 -
This is all I have heard about

You were probably wise to have booked already0 -

thank you, i will take a look at the P&O cruise ships that you mentioned, having never been on one before the thought of a formal dining experience with my 2 little darlings (5 & 8) just fills me with dread0 -

They have a special childrens dinner/tea on the Oceana and on Ventura they have a 24 hour casual dining place so if you wanted to you could avoid the formal dining room altogether, or feed the children there first and then eat later while they are in the kids club.
We're going to give it a go for a week next year, hubby's not thrilled at dressing for dinner but thats only 2 nights the other 5 nights you can wear jeans, so although I would like to try the formal dining on the formal nights there are plenty of other options for us to eat at if he doesn't want to put his suit on.
We have cruised once before on an American cruiseline and it was wonderful, hope that P&O are as good.0
