Given that I was under the impression the daily thread was a thorn in the side of HB&F I'd have expected more people voting for a weekly thread.........unless that is they really don't give a rats a$$ about any of this In which case why the fuss in the first place......sorry just some musings.

she said she wouldn't derail the thread - by posting sarcastic comments to provoke a reaction is to me going back on what she said as look where we're going again :rolleyes:
if she or anyone else wants to stir up trouble they can do it elsewhere.
I refer you to my post to jassy - GotToChange isn't the only one who needs to refrain from posting imflammatory comments that are going to wind people up.

And with my comment about seeing newbies posting "insulting" comments on their first thread I was referring to MSE as a whole - my life does not just revolve around HB&F you know

OK, not being familiar with any of this 'bad guy' stuff, all I saw in GotToChange's post was a snide (bordering on passive aggressive) attack on Bronnie. I don't know the history of any of this, sorry.

But I do know that Bronnie is a pleasant, helpful, nice contributor to these threads and I just don't understand why GotToChange made that comment completely unprovoked. Which, incidentally, appears to show that (s)he is not entirely innocent in any disagreement that is going on here.

Or am I getting it wrong?

And what is it about the fashion threads that inspires such vitriol?

All I can see was gottochange asking you if it were her posts that were deleteted as she could see through her posting history none were

Now your posts (and others on these threads) IMPLY that gottochange posts are the ones that are being pulled.

I think she is well within her rights to ask you to clarify what posts you are talking about.

So whats snide or derailing about asking for clarification? Or once again is it a case of throw the accusactions but be unable to back them up so muddy the waters a bit and hope no one notices?

I've never implied any such thing. I you read all of my posts on this whole subject I've never suggested it was GTC who's posts were pulled. I suspect if anyone it was Bounder. GTC doesn't post anything outright offensive, the ones I've seen are of a wind up nature with lots of sarcasm. Others have made the implication - that is nothing to do with me or this thread.

If she wants to clarify this position (which lets be honest with actions suggested as "backing out reverently" within the post which I read as being sarcastic is that really what she intended?) she can start her own thread or PM Bronnie privately.
