Well, feeling a bit narked todayangry-smiley-277.gif not quite sure why?

I have got nothing again from the postie other than our new pin numbers for our new account.

I wish the creditors would make some sort of contact even if it's bad news!sad-smiley-407.gif. They aren't even telephoning us!

I sent cheques of from hubby's accounts to request my CCA's (so my signature wouldn't be used) and I have just realised that I done this before they took away his overdraft so no doubt he will be charged for the pleasure:mad: - that's if they even cash them.

My hubby's employers haven't confirmed if his salary will be paid into his new account:eek:. It's a really large organisation and apparently it's not simple - gawd's sake change the fre a kin numbers on your computer and be done with itangry-smiley-175.gif. If it doesn't go into our new account we are really and utterly up !!!!!! creek without a paddle next month.

I haven't managed a NSD today (again) but I didn't buy the paper so it's a step in the right directiontongue-smiley-8922.gif.

    Spends today:
    • 2xbars Dove Soap - £0.39 each - bargain.
    • 4xbars Terry Choc Orange for the kids - £0.99 - yet another bargain
We are going to the park now so that's free:j. Tea's made so I'm off to [STRIKE]shout and scream[/STRIKE] enjoy the boys for a few hours:p.

Be back later with more ramblings.

    Hi Fire Fox

I do do other crosswords online and books that I've had for ages and my mum gives me all her mags so I do these too but I really like the one from the paper but as from today I'm not buying it anymore .

    Thanks for reading and inputting:beer:.

Maybe that 99p for the chocolate orange might have covered one of them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Hubby account is sitting at -£1722 his overdraft is £1800 and it is showing a 0 balance when really he should have £78 but they have obiviously removed his overdraft facility.

To cover the £3.00 for the cheques we would need to put in £81 but to be honest I still need to get a few bits and bobs for the kids for school and we just had to pay hubby's tax for his car.

I'll see what happens. The creditors may not even cash them. I sent cheques for hubby's CCA requests which are the main ones that we are going after so they will be cashed ok from my account.

If the bank do cash them and charge us we are going to reclaim the charges dating back a few years anyhow so hopefully we should get them back. £35 a time is a bit steep IMO.

Lucky you having 3 [STRIKE]little brats [/STRIKE]angels tomorrow:p (do you think I lkie using the strike function:rotfl:?)

Creditors are notoriously rubbish at cashing cheques. I post a cheque to my DCA (Blair, Oliver and Scott) on the last working day of every month and it often hasn't cleared from my GF's account until the 20th of the subsequent month! I suppose I could use my Visa delta, but:

    a) it's cheaper to send it with a first class stamp to make the call
    b) hopefully the fact that they've been taking payment towards my debts from a
3rd party (we're not married) will strengthen my case when I angle for a full and final settlement payment :D

They can be very slow - it wouldn't hurt to call and ask if they've received your letters - letters seem to be used for departmental ping pong when an account holder can't pay what they owe....
  • Afternoon
Well no more spends today from my previous postparty-smiley-9535.gif! Oops sorry no told a fib my OH had a cup of teaeat-drink-smiley-7838.gif at work - another 25p for no doubt something that tastes like cat pee:rotfl:.

The boys had a great time at the park - even in the bloomin rain.

Total of spends today is £2.02 - well done meangel-smiley-8401.gif. Do you think I deserve a bottle of wine for being so good or do you think that would defeat the purpose:confused:;).

Be back soon with more rubbish ramblings:D.

Thank ya all for taking the time to read

    Hi Edinburgher

Thanks for the info. I am thinking some of our debts will be passed to Blair Oliver Scott as we have a lot of money owed to Halifax and Bank of Scotland.

I will leave it a week or so before contacting them as I have made the pro-rata payments this month (well for most of them that I had the details for to set up a standing order for!).

I suppose I'm just getting anxious and feel like I'm waiting for the poo to hit the fan so to speak.

Oh well take each day as it comes and hope for the best.

    Thanks again for your input:beer:
