Thanks Ali007 i am tired most of the time but it will all be worth it in the end ... well maybe  no it will be worth it
I've been putting things on ebay for a few years now and most of my listings start at just 99p and alot of them don't sell but it only takes a few to mount up and then the money comes in and im amazed at what people are prepared to pay for thingsand its always the things that you expect to sell don't and things you don't think will sell do ... as long as people continue to buy from me and i can cover the costs of the fees, clear some space in my house and make some money then it keeps me happy
Im looking forward to seeing my debts going down too just wish i had a magic wand that would make them disappear :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:DEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -

Hey
Well so far this week i've managed to pay the minimum payment to my Barclaycard £140.00 bringing this card down to £5470.00
I was intending to go into work overtime today but it was called off as they were updating the computing system so i decided to spend the day listing on ebay, however, ended up going out last nite! Everyone from my second job usually goes out after work every Sunday and they've been asking me to go with them for the last three weeks but everytime i refuse but this time decided to go. I did well and only manage to spend £10.00 however it leaves me short this week for my money to spend but i did have a good time so i suppose it was worth it and i dont go out that often so im not feeling to bad about it.
I eventually plucked up the courage to take my car into the garage and its just as well that i did. It turns out that the noise that the car is making was from the part that they fitted last time they fixed the car. So that part is under warranty and it's not going to cost me anything to get it fixed :T and it means my car should be running fine now!
I had previously phoned up Sky and they had offered me my full package for 3 months half price, however, when i checked my bank account they had taken the full amount off. Phoned them again and they apologised and said that the offer hadnt been put through properly so they could offer it again or they could offer me 25% off my package for a year. So the full package is now going to be £31.88 a month rather than £42.50 per month saving me £10.62 a month. I had intended to keep my sky package but take off the sports package which would have only saved me £10.00 so now i get to keep it all and will save £127.44.
The additional £10.62 that im saving a month will be used to pay towards my Skycard cause i want to get the balance of this reduced asap.
I haven't managed to put away the £20.00 from my wages for my Tesco card yet as i had to pay for postage for my ebay items. Im going to take out the remaining money from my ebay savings account to put away the £20.00 and i'll need to put away another £15.00 towards my ebay postage.
Its my turn to drive to work next week and i need to get petrol so i may need to go into my overdraft this month, although, i really don't want to. I will try not to but unless i get some more ebay sales i think im really going to struggle until i get paid on the 12th when i should have extra money from my overtime.

Hi
Weekly update
My parents car failed its MOT this week it needed a new exhaust and new tyres costing £500.00 but they didn't have the money to pay for it so I had to put it on my credit card as they need to have access to a car. I just felt as though i was doing really well and my debt should be going down but it just keeps going up! I will get the money back from them eventually but we could be looking at £5.00 a week cause they really can't afford it so i'll need to wait and see. Anyway heres how things stand at the moment. I have put in what i previously owed from when i started again properly on the 21.05.06 and update with what i owe now.
DEBTS OUTSTANDING:
BARCLAYCARD £5530.00 now £5470.00
MBNA £4595.00 now £4661.64
MORGAN STANLEY £2240.00 now £2220.00
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND MASTERCARD £6950.00 now £6989.00
SKYCARD £808.99 now £1100.00
TESCO £ 1990.72 now £1969.97
OVERDRAFT £277.66 O/D now PAID OFF :T
TOTAL DEBT @ 21.05.06 £22392.37 now £22410.61 an increase of £18.24:mad:
I know its only a small increase £18.24 but it means that in the month that i had paid off my debt and also used most of my savings i now have paid nothing towards my debt and my savings are practically non existant!
SAVINGS:
HALIFAX £161.13 now £200.18
WORKS SAVINGS ACCOUNT £301.29 now £26.29
EBAY SAVINGS ACCOUNT £152.53 now £21.40
TOTAL SAVINGS @ 21.05.06 £614.95 now £247.87
I have paid all my minimum payments for June - my MBNA and RBS Mastercard are paid by direct debit so I have the minimum payments for them in my account totalling £230.64 so that still has to come off the total.
I really need to get some things listed on ebay. I just keep relisting the items that don't sell but only seem to be making the fees and nothing extra to pay towards my cards. I've got 199 items listed at the moment - only 9 of them are new items the rest have been on before. Once the old items finish im going to wait until its a cheap listing day before re-listing them and will only re-list the items that haven't sold for the 1st time. I really need to get some extra money together to pay my credit cards.
I got my overtime money in my wage this month so that gave me an extra £50.00 so i've put that towards my minimum payments so that when my 2nd job wage comes in then i can use that to put away for next months payments giving me a head start.
Anyway thats enough for now... maybe next time i'll be able to update with some more positive news

Hi
Not updated for ages have been far too ashamed. I keep falling off the MSE wagonbut have decided that its time that i got back on and get myself sorted out.
So im now starting all over again. To date this is how my current debt situation is looking
DEBTS OUTSTANDING:
BARCLAYCARD £5270.00
MBNA £4042.64
MORGAN STANLEY £2180.00
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND MASTERCARD £9728.00
SKYCARD £698.98
TESCO £2340.00
OVERDRAFT £1026.75 O/D
TOTAL DEBT @ 12.08.06 £25286.37
SAVINGS:
HALIFAX £100.00 (this account is for car insurance and repairs when needed)
DUNFERMLINE £180.00 (this account is for my house insurance and any repairs when needed - i didn't have anything saved for this and i had to use my overdraft and credit cards when i had some major repairs to be done that weren't covered by insurance, hence, the reason my total outstanding debt has increased dramatically nearly by £3000)
WORKS SAVINGS ACCOUNT £101.29 (this account is for christmas to pay for a new outfit, xmas nites out and the present i need to buy for work)
EBAY SAVINGS ACCOUNT £84.23
TOTAL SAVINGS @ 12.08.06 £465.52
I have put all my debts into the snowball calculator and the one that im targeting first is the MBNA debt the APR on this card is 21% so any extra money i get has to be paid towards this card.
My grampa died a while ago and im due to receive some money from his will. When this comes in im going to use it to pay off my sky card and then im going to pay off my overdraft again! Its expected that im going to get just over £2000 so i want to use this to pay off some of my debts and id rather get rid of the overdraft then reduce it. The limit is 1150 so i thought that i could reduce it to £500 to start with. The APR on the sky card is 30.9% but hopefully the money will be in before any interest gets added to the card (earliest any interest should go on is Sept)
I listed 306 things on ebay during the 10p listing days and so far 15 of them are selling so i will have made enough to pay all the fees incurred and anything extra after all fees paid and money put towards postage will go towards my MBNA credit card.
I'm going to a car boot sale with my mum and sister a week on sunday again anything made from this will go to my MBNA credit card.
I'm due to go into work for overtime tomorrow morning. Overtime is stopping at some point this month so need to go in to get the most out of it before it stops.
I've finally finished my management training at my second job so am running the shop 2nights this week for doing this i get an extra £3 per night. I know its not much but its going to be extra so am looking forward to my extra in my wages.
Anyway im going to go now and try to find some more things to look out for the car boot sale next weekend

Well done Buddiebabe - I've been reading your post for a while and missed you when you were gone. Congrats on finishing your training - that extra money per week will help chip away at the debt.
I don't know if it will help but a few months ago I created a spreadsheet to help manage savings and also 'frills' spending. I tested it for 4 months and it helped me, so I've launched it on MSE now after running it past MSE Andrea. It is meant as an add-on to Martin's spreadsheet - ie: once you've worked out your budget and want to start saving/paying off debt. PM me if you think it could be of use, or search the Debt Free Wannabe board for 'spreadsheet' - good luck babe and keep up the good work!MFW #185

Thanks Eagerlearner i have seen your speadsheet on MSE and have got it on my pc just haven't got round to using it as yet.
Im determined to get things sorted this time.
I made it in to work this morning for overtime and worked 6 hours so in Septembers wage im due to get 16 hours at double time and 3 hours at time and a half.
Overtime is due to stop anytime now so i cant bank on any for October but it means that i will have my sundays free so if the weather stays dry i should be able to go to the car boot sale and hopefully make some extra money that way.
Im going to continue clearing out things today so hopefully by the end of today i'll have another few boxes to add to the car boot pile and a nice and clutter free livingroom!
I will update more regularly from now on.DEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -

Im so angry and upset with myself. I was just checking my accounts to see if any of this months payments have come off yet and i've realised that two things that i thought had already come out my bank account and my skycard hadn't so the balances that i have for these accounts are incorrect...
I just feel so stupid. I usually write everything down but iv obviously not done that.
so the correct outstanding amounts are as follows:
DEBTS OUTSTANDING:
BARCLAYCARD £5270.00
MBNA £4042.64
MORGAN STANLEY £2180.00
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND MASTERCARD £9728.00
SKYCARD £922.88
TESCO £2340.00
OVERDRAFT £1499.80 O/D (and my overdraft limit is only £1150 so im going to end up with some bank charges this month)
TOTAL DEBT @ 14.08.06 £25983.32
Im just so fed up i seem to be taking one step forward and twenty steps back. Im beginning to wonder if its all worth it. I could just sit here and cry. Im going to empty my works and ebay savings accounts in the morning and put this money towards my overdrawn account. Its not going to take me under my overdraft limit but it might reduce the interest charges.
Im just so fed up. I feel as though im doing as much as i can but i dont know how much more i can take. Im working 2 jobs and doing as much overtime as possible but im just so tired i feel like giving up.
To top it all off my bathroom ceiling is now letting in water from the flat above and im going to have to make a claim on my insurance paying the excess of £60 and losing my no claims bonus.
Hopefully i'll feel a bit better in the morning after iv had some rest but its not looking too promising.DEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970
