Hello
I've been to the bank and have put the £300 in to clear my overdraft. Althought i've not really done anything apart from move money around i feel as though im making a step in the right direction now.
SKYCARD BALANCE £ 700.00 - nothing came off this as yet
At least i can now update my signature.
Spent £ 4.00 today on the lottery syndicate at work (thats for the month and is out my weekly spending money)
Spent £ 3.00 for the birthday fund ( thats for 3 different office birthdays all of which are friends but saves me having to buy individual presents so saves in the long run! again out my weekly spending money)
I've put my name down to go in and work overtime on Sunday which if i do then i should get an extra £50 on next months wage.
Off to work in 2nd job now

Hello
Well its been an ok week i've managed to only spend £10.00 cash which is alot better than i would usually have done.
I took my lunch to work with me everyday and didn't go out for anything to eat.
I worked 5 hours overtime this morning and this will go into my June wage. I have managed to take my wages from my 2nd job out as planned and it is now safely tucked away in an envelope to be paid towards my bills when they come through.
One slight problem. I miscalculated my outstanding balances on my Skycard and my Tesco credit card by £122.99 in total. So in order to balance this up and keep my debt free date correct and not have to change my snowball calculation again im going to take the money out of my ebay savings account it is supposed to be used for anytime im short with the money to pay my credit cards i just didnt expect to be taking it out so soon! I really need to be more careful when counting the money i owe my credit cards. Just feel really stupid
SKYCARD BALANCE £808.99  (WILL BE PAYING £108.99 TOMORROW TO BRING IT BACK DOWN TO £700.00 )
Anyway im off to list some things on ebay now ... iv got just over 200 items listed at the moment but only 6 of them are selling so its not going as well as i had hoped but i'll just need to keep trying.
Hopefully next time i update i'll have some better news. Just feeling a bit down at the moment don't seem to be getting anywhere fast

Hi
Don't seem to be getting anywhere fast but thought i'd update my outstanding debts and savings totals. It stops me spending money just updating this
DEBTS OUTSTANDING:
BARCLAYCARD £5530.00 no change
MBNA £4595.00 no change
MORGAN STANLEY £2240.00 no change
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND MASTERCARD £6950.00 no change
SKY £808.99 now back down to £700.00 after miscalculation
TESCO £1976.72 has went up to £1993.99(will need to wait for statement cause i can't get any information over the phone)
OVERDRAFT £277.66 O/D now paid off :T
TOTAL DEBT OUTSTANDING £ 22392.37 now £22008.99
SAVINGS:
HALIFAX £161.13 now £191.13
WORKS SAVINGS ACCOUNT £301.29 now £26.29
EBAY SAVINGS ACCOUNT £152.53 now £51.15
TOTAL SAVINGS £ 614.95 now £268.57
I have managed to have 3 no spend days so not too bad went out for lunch on Tuesday at work and spent £6.05 and put the 95p into my piggy bank so i've only got £3.00 left to spend for the week (i am trying to spend no more than £10 per week in cash) i've still got some money on my asda savings card i intend to use this before spending any money on shopping and any toiletries that i need im using my boots points to buy so am using this instead of spending any cash.
On Sunday im planning to go into work for overtime again for 5 hours which will go into July's wage.
Am looking forward to the end of the month so i can empty my piggy bank and pay the money towards my halifax savings account for the car fund.... cars making a strange noise againbut if i turn my music up i can't hear it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: so it will be fine for now
Can't wait to be able to reduce my signature and update my balances ... just a case of waiting for my statements to come through and for it to be pay day again!!!
Hope to have some better news soon

Hi buddiebabe,
Don't be so down on yourself honey - you are doing fantastically well - 200 things on eBay - I'm so impressed! What dedication! Watch you don't end up with bare rooms though as you've sold everything.
My car is making a funny noise too (we're such girls!) but I just turn the radio up! It sounds like you are really dedicated with the asda savings etc - you are putting me to shame (back on the wagon for me this week - I've not been behaving myself!).
It'll take a couple of months to kick in and then you'll be going along on an even keel - it does take a while for it all to sort itself out. You are doing so brilliantly.
I'm proud of you.

Hi - a big hug to you, so happy that you have gotten back on track after the terrible events you've had to pull though. Well done and a big hug to you - just one thought - Superdrug are offering 10% off all summer (vouchers to use in store) if you register on their website, anything you save on that could go towards paying off debts. Anything you would buy in your weekly shop that is beauty/cleaning/washing etc could be bought from Superdrug to save 10% - OR - use your Boots advantage points to reduce weekly spend. I know you like the points, but they don't give you interest, whereas your debts sting you for a lot of interest and are worth knocking down any which way you can...
Best of luck hun, will keep checking in to see how you are getting on ;o)

Hi
Thanks for the kind words of support. It means alot and has given me an incentive to keep going.
Well made it into work today ended up working 6 hours at double time - this will go into July's wages but it also means that i won't have to go into work any other Sundays next month but if i do it will all be extra ... to be honest i think i need a break!
Got 204 things listed on ebay and currently just over £10.00 of things selling don't worry scottish i've still got a full house of things that i could probably make some money on but until i've listed the items i don't want or need anymore im rather reluctant to sell them at the moment, however, if needs must then i will! I've got £24.00 in my paypal account but am reluctant to withdraw it till it gets to £50 so im not charged 25p :rotfl: its better in my pocket
EagerLearner my second job is in Superdrug i work nights and weekends so i already get a 10% discount. Im only using my boots card to spend points and not collect them anymore i can't really afford to spend any cash in boots (although i am collecting boots vouchers using the pigsback website £30.00 collected so far)
My credit card statements are due to start coming in soon in the following order:
BARCLAYCARD 26th May - Min payment £140.00 due by 26th June ( I have £110.00 saved up which i will pay towards this on Tuesday) the further £30.00 i will take from my wages on Friday for this
TESCO 4th June - Min payment approx £59.30 due by 29th June - i will use £20.00 from my wages 02.06.06 and the further £39.30 from my wages on 09.06.06
MORGAN STANLEY 7th June - Min payment approx £47.04 due by 1st July £7.04 will be from wages dated 09.06.06 and the further £40.00 from wages on 16.06.06
SKYCARD 10th June - Min payment + extra per snowball calc £30.42 due by 5th July £10.00 from wages on 16.06.06 and further £20.42 from wages on 23.06.06
Then it will start over again!!!
I've not included the payments for MBNA or Royal Bank of Scotland as these come off my main wage from my second job.
I've based the above on me using £50.00 from my 2nd job wage ... usually i get over that (approx £60 - £70) but on the odd occasion i only get about £43 - £48 depends on the amount of hours i work. Im going to use the addition £10 to live off of per week and any extra will be used towards my minimum payments for my credit cards.
Anyway im going to try to get some things listed on ebay just now get some extra money so i can get these cards paid off faster. Will try to update again soon
Buddiebabe xDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -
Crikey buddiebabe you must be exhausted - all those extra hours, plus over 200 items on ebay! I've had a few bad experiences also on ebay where either things didn't sell or made tiny amounts - chin up, it'll get better.
Am v impressed that not only do you know dates & amounts of payments, but also where the payments are coming from!!
Looking forward to seeing your debts go down every month. :T :T :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
