Time is just going too quickly for my liking!
Only 9 weeks this friday... into single figures, eeek!
My ceremony paperwork has to be in this weekend so frantically trying to decide on readings, music and vows. Will be relieved once that's done as I can start the nice jobs like looking for shoes and jewellery! :j
Have been deliberating over flowers and centrepieces and was thinking of doing my own but by the time I'd bought vases, plates etc they weren't that cheap and my florist is doing some lovely tall vases with gerberas, foliage, beads and coloured water for £15 per table, that's a weight off my mind!!!Wins 2012: Mascara, Yorkshire break, Year's supply of Wine!!
Freebies 2012: £94

I really don't feel like we are doing much towards the wedding. Went back to work after 2 weeks off today and a couple of the girls asked if everything was sorted. The only answer I could give was "I have appointments for everything but really haven't got anything to do". We aren't having a particularly MSE wedding and have got people in to do everything so maybe that is why.
Sadly OHs dad passed away in the early hours of this morning, it was expected but still isn't nice. I am relieved we hadn't already sorted the registrar paperwork but I'm not looking forward to asking OH to fill it out now. I will leave that as late as possible.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

So sorry to hear that, so close to the wedding too, my thoughts are with you both.
We are pretty similar, ours isn't as MSE as I'd have liked, as in I'm not doing much myself (other than stationery) but I have still tracked down bargains where possible! So most of my time is spent researching on internet rather than actually 'doing' anything.Wins 2012: Mascara, Yorkshire break, Year's supply of Wine!!

sorry to hear your news aj
we had our last preparation evening last night, this time at the vicarage, it was just us, the reverend and the curate,
we discussed all aspects of the service, whats going to happen and when, hymns, readings, music etc
it was really nice to re-focus on the service for the night rather than stress about the reception.
I have to look into doing an order of service, is anyone else having one? i guess its a nice momento and wouldnt take long to knock up...
i might give it to OH and tell him thats his next big job! lol0 -
Chuffed to bits after my hair trial, I had no idea that she could do something really intricate as I don't have a lot of hair but I cried when I saw the back, I've never had anything so nice in all my life! I'm delighted and I think it'll be the confidence boost I need on the day, OH hasn't seen me with anything other than variations on a choppy bob!
Seeing the priest tomorrow, a bit nervous as I'm not sure I've briefed OH enough yet!0 -
