Been making a list of the 'little things to do' today, it's only as long as my arm! If I write it here I'm held more accountable to get things done, starting a Masters before a wedding is insane!

    Still to do:
Bridesmaid dress for sister - she's ordered one online to try fingers crossed, we have another M&S one to try if this one is no good!
Confetti (need to ask priest what's allowed)
Ring pillow - asked Mam to make one about 6 months ago, she's kept it quiet if she's done it, haha!
Need more paper to wrap our postbox, might sort this tomorrow
Need a frame for our wishing tree poem
Need to get H2B to help me remake the wishing tree as it's decidedly droopy!
Sort a date for hair trial
Still need to sort a table plan - bit of a headache!
Still got a way to go on savings for honeymoon spends

meant to be seeing the wedding coordinator at our venue tomorrow- but had to cancel as my car playing up and garage cant fix until tuesday. annoying! hoping it will be rearranged in the next couple of weeks.

    Things to do:
Buy 1 usher and father of the bride gifts (really really struggling with this)
await the bridesmaid dress that got sent back, to be sent back to me
hair trial- a week on saturday
    appt with florist- 15th may
print off childrens activity books- when back in work next week(!)
lose 4/5 lbs by start of June

RSVP date is 31st May- so can't chase ppl yet!

I want to make all the favour boxes up- but cant really as no space to keep them all!

Honeymoon has been paid off so that good.

Am off to Spain on thursday until Monday. So am looking forward to that :)

Hi ajmoney, not sure if they're even anything close to what you're looking for but I got my bridesmaid dresses from m and s.

They're Autograph Tie Back Fit Flare (sorry it won't let me post links yet). I got mine in Light Magenta, which is more like a lilac, but there's also a pink - no idea if it helps! xx

Edit - sorry just seen you're looking for pale pink - the Light Magenta is definitely lilac, and the bright pink will be way too pink. :(
Married my wonderful husband 31st July 2011 :j
    Baby boy born April 2013 - and 2 became 3! :)
    Baby number 2 due May 2016 - 3 will become 4! :)
  • sent invites out yesterday and have had two acceptances already - very impressed by their promptness!

still hunting out shoes for me, but have been offered the loan of a fascinator that matches my dress which saves a few more pennies for

the suit for DS, think I've sorted out which one but need to not buy it until July because he'll just grow out of it..

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

sammy where did you get your favour boxes from? We are considering an extra lot of favours seeing as our costs are coming down. We have found somewhere that will do boxes and chocs etc but would like to price up doing them ourselves.

BM dress crisis over. An emergency shopping trip later and we have this dress http://www.johnlewis.com/226697/Style.aspx it looks lovely on my sister although I had to find a tactful way of saying the bigger size looked better.

I also tried on my dress and now have a picture. I love it when I look at myself in the mirror, not so sure about the pic though. The dress wasn't arranged for a photo and my hair etc isn't done which doesn't help. Have been able to check that my necklace works too, it is the first thing OH ever bought me so we were both passionate about me wearing it.

Bought my sister some earrings for the day and looked at shoes for her and my niece and hair bits. After seeing her choices I have given her the go ahead to buy without me seeing as I am happy with her choices.

A few more RSVPs in today and we have sent a couple of reminders through some teachers about remembering to do it. I wonder if there will be any post on Friday?

April is nearly over then we have May and June and then it is our turn :j

I am itching to be doing wedding things now, maybe with 10 weeks to go I am being too eager but I would at least like to discuss exactly what we want with suppliers so we know exact costs for payment days. Our florist was planning on getting in touch next month to arrange a meeting for 4 weeks beforehand, I can't bear the thought of having to wait another 6 weeks for that! I have emailed her and our venue styler this morning so hopefully we can get some appointments booked. The last thing I was is the venue styler doing multiple weddings that weekend and being unable to give us the colour we want.

Right I made a general list of things left to do yesterday, it can probably be put into more detail but I haven't reached that bridezilla stage and hope not to.

    THINGS LEFT TO DO
Meeting with chaplain to choose items for service, sign passport form and approve order of service
    Send passport off
    Meeting with photographer
    Meeting with band
    Meeting with florist
    Meeting with venue styler
    Buy wedding underwear
    Dress fittings
    Accessories for bridesmaids
    Order favours
    Oder wedding cake
    Meeting with venue
    Organise hair trial
    Buy gifts
Book a hotel room for me
Timings for hair then check make up booking times
    Rough schedule for the day
Book a rehearsal at the venue

I am not sleeping well at the moment, I wake up around 2 feeling quite uncomfortable knowing I have had a wedding dream but I can never remember what they are about. I hope they don't continue for much longer!
