18 weeks today :j
I am making huge efforts to do non-wedding related stuff with OH so it doesn't all stop when the wedding is over. Cooked a nice meal which we had by candlelight last night, going out for a picnic tomorrow and 2 weekends time we are going here http://www.tigh-na-sgiath.co.uk/ for OHs birthday. I have booked it as a surprise and it seems amazing. Just doing these simple things has reminded me of how much I love him. Sorry if it sounds soppy, although this is probably the thread I can say this on without being shot down!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

sammy I saw that thread, have you tried the dress on yet?
We were in Debenhams today and I was by all the posh dresses, said I wished I had waited for BM dresses (even though there was nothing I liked there). Also thought about another style of wedding dress I would like which then made me wish we were getting married abroad or could go back to our intimate wedding idea. I think I am worrying about the dress because I can't find it online so can't properly remember what it looks like, I am really worried I will hate it when I see it again.
You are not the only one with these worries, I am hoping that putting down on here will help keep me sane so post away xMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Eek! 18 weeks today! I have a LOT to do, a LOT of exercise to get rid of these flipping bingo wings and the countdown on this thread is giving me a huge kick up the backside! I cannot wait for my dress to arrive at the store but it's still probably not getting here til May so I'll have to hope against hope that it fits! I also have that fear about not liking it, but have stopped looking in magazines at dresses and am skim reading to look at cakes etc instead!
I just wanted to say thanks to all you lovely July 2011 folk, you've been hugely supportive and it's nice to know there's a place to come when I'm having a wobble too! x0 -
21 weeks today :j
Have done nothing whatsoever for it today (except run so I can still get in my dress!)
Actually, we did talk about people to do the readings for us and witnesses. That's it.
Maybe tomorrow will be more productive!!!0 -
Checkin in.
Invites have been sent
Paid bridesmaid dress deposit - really impressed with the bridal shop, price and the fact alterations are only £5-£10
Met with the florist - he was amazing and gave me an outsiders view of my ideas - gone are the pink sashes, waistcoats and birdcage centre pieces lol! I just hope his price is as good as his confidence and persuasion.
Ive bought my underwear also in the Debenhams 20% off sale, one thing im a little unsure about is the suspender belt - do you where this over or under your knickers? Imagining very embarassing trips to the loo with my c.bridesmaid!
Still not sure what to do with BM hair yet.0 -

Got my shoes today, probably gone against all protocol and superstition as OH came and chose them with me, we had a really fun time. He had a wobble today which is reassuring. Just got to ring wedding dress shop tomorrow to check the heel height is ok, I got these http://www.johnlewis.com/81812/Style.aspx I can take them back if it is too high.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

AJmoney, wonder if you can help me with something, I have literally tried for months to find shoes I like in a size 9, many of those I've had sent out have said they're a 9 but are a 42 which is a british 8, I definately need a 43 (9). I have seen Rainbow Club ones in JL in a 9, but before I order yet another pair, are the ones you've bought the size you'd normally go for, and do you know if the euro size is a match to your british size? Not to worry if you don't know, I'll probably end up ordering em anyway, and probably end up sending another pair back!0
