Wooohoooo, 7 months to go :j

Had a quote back from my venue and got the room hire and buffet for £800. More than I was hoping to pay, but have re-jigged the budget and it will work out ok. So its all booked now :T

Witney bride, I think I'm going to get my dress from ebay. If you pick one with good feedback, I'm sure it will work out ok. Daren't go to wedding dress shops in case I fall in love with one, and my budget is very very small.

Sammy - have the bridesmaid dresses arrived now?

nope they havent arrived yet! looked on royal mail website and my postcode has delays- which i already knew! am so glad that i ordered them early!

absolutely gutted- the other two bridesmaid dresses arrived today- and i have just had to send this to the seller- they finally arrived today- but in my order i had asked you for a size 10 and 12- according to the labels they are size 14 and 10. also- i asked for little straps on them- which you havent done- and i also asked for a colour swatch- which isnt there. I am really upseet as these are bridesmaids dresses for my wedding- and you sent me one a few months ago- which was perfect (straps on it too) and i am really upset that these two are no good. i also asked in the order that they arrive before the end of november- which you said you would do- i understand that you sent them last week- but you havent done as i wanted and paid for.
what shall i do?
i would like to return them to you- and you refund me the postage- as well as then providing me with 2 dresses- size 10 and 12-with little straps on the dress. and a colour swatch

Awww, sammy, thats diasappointing about the bridesmaid dresses tho I think you sent a nice response tho. Hopefully they will be able to sort it out asap for you. You've got loads of time to get it sorted, so try not to stress about it.

she replied on thursday (30th) so 8 days after they were recieved- and i had emailed her 3 times. so that didnt impress me.- i get that its the holidays, but even a quick email would have been better than nothing.
then when she did finally reply she just said, send them back to.... I will refund you the postage, and i will redo them. sorry.
i wasnt impressed, and still am not.
so she wont get them until tuesday with the bank hols/weekends. and then havent a clue how long it will take her to do.

am so glad i didnt order them closer to the wedding. by the time i get them back it will be about 3 months since i brought them.

trying not to think about it really.
the florist and chair cover ppl need a colour swatch- which she didnt send, so they are waiting too.
