Lol, hello date twin! You seem a million times more organised than me looking back at yr posts! Have you got anything left to do?

I've got most of my ideas sorted and have found most things over the internet etc. Just haven't done all that much about any of them yet! Need to get the venue sorted first tho!!

Oooooo, think I have found a venue! Ticks all the boxes, just waiting for the owners to get back to me with a price as they are away at a funeral.

Have got my fingers double crossed as its a perfect alternative from the one I had previously set my heart on. Please please please let the price be right, if not there'll be some major haggling to be done, lol!!

I knew it already, its a pub on the edge of town with a function room which is big enough, and it also has the outside space I was after. I hadn't thought the function room was big enough, and I also thought that they wouldn't allow outside caterers as they cook food there.

Popped in to see it today, and its definately big enough, and the outside space is enclosed (so the kiddies can't run out into the car park or anything) and bigger than I expected, and they said that I could use outside caterers, or set them a budget of however much and they would provide food to that budget and we could top it up (which is what we were planning on doing with a local company, but having it at the venue would be even better)

Eeeekkk, so excited! Can't see them charging too much. They'll make a bomb in bar sales, so surely room hire won't be too much?! Am really impatient now I know i am close to finding a venue, lol!!

A lot of pubs do free room hire as they make the money on the bar - some just charge the amount to pay for the extra bar staff -- so fingers crossed for you!!

Oooo, I hope so Esther. Thats what I've convinced myself in my head anyways, lol! I'm so impatient, I just want to know *now*! Feel like I can't really plan or buy anything else til I have a venue. I have a million things that I'm watching in ebay
