If I get one, I will only be transferring what I can reasonably afford to repay in 9 months. This would be the money I'm currently paying 16.9% on and the money that will soon be at 22.9%. All the rest is on decent LOB deals so I won't be tempted to transfer that in case I can't repay before the 9 months is up.0 -

I like their light hearted writing, don't you?:rotfl:
Paul - I didn't tick PPI either. But I did pick BT for £2850 and they gave me limit £2900...0 -
I didn't put any BT amounts in.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Nicely just been offered a £15000 limit :-) will be balance transferring to egg and then onwards to a saving account.
Massive thanks to dov for the link (on page 2) as it's gone from moneysupermarket comparison0 -
How come such a large amount, if you don't mind me asking - do you have a hefty income?0

i got offered a £7,300 limit. in my application i requested to do a transfer of £5,300 (as that is the limit on my egg card), dont know if its coincidence that they offered me exactly £2k more. anyone know if it will be easy to increase the BT to £7,300 or if i should send another £2k separately?
my egg limit is £5,300, hopefully it wont be a problem to SBT more than that...
PS - kindofagilr, i didnt receive an email either...
You can do a SBT of the entire postive balance on your Egg Money account irrespective of your credit limit. The credit limit is only for negative balances. So the total you could transfer is positive balance + credit limit but you would only wont to transfer the positive balance for stozzing purposes.0 -
thank you!0

I just applied for OH and he got accepted immediately. We were a bit worried about the clean credit part as he has a small CCJ and default which we didn't know about until we did a credit search last year. However he is already with Virgin Media and mobile, and has an MBNA mastercard so hopefully that made the difference in his case. He is transferring £2700 and got £4500 limit. When he applied to Tescos earlier in the year they wanted bank statements from him first before they would process his application further so we didn't bother with them.0

On the application form, you have to specify existing borrowings / credit cards.
I have no outstanding amounts to enter. But that will seem a bit strange when I request a BT later.
What do you fellow stoozers fill in?Dagobert0
