MSE news: Virgin launches fee-free 0% balance transfer credit card

How did you find out you don't have all the benefits? Did it say in the T&C when the card arrived? (you know, in the rates table).
It was when I tried to do a BT the Virgin member of staff told me there was a handling fee - I then explained the terms of the offer - they told me that offer was pulled etc etc.
I then called the other number and it was a formality0 -
should I have to tell them I am doing a blanace transfer? or will it all go through automatically seeing as I applied to do it when I spplied for the card? Transferring from M&S to Virgin. do I need to tell either? Virgin should already know I think.0

It's got nowt to do with M&S, Virgin knew I was doing a BT, but they just asked me to confirm it.0 -
Im searching everyday in the hope of another one of these deals out onto the market, as i owe 1k next month which i cant afford to pay back fully and would really like to transfer it free of charge to another 0% card. Wheres the best places to keep up to date with any of these potential deals?0

I wouldn't hang about waiting on another fee-free 0% deal appearing - I'd be going for another card today and just biting the 3% fee. The link that dov gave you is where I'd start."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -

Thank you Socrates.
Fortunately I didn't need to call that special number, the guy that picked up when I rung to activate my card told me that I have 0% no fee and the BT I requested at applying was already done!
It hasn't appeared on my M&S yet, but as M&S statement was issued yesterday, that is actually good as I won't have to pay anything this month:T I will still keep checking on-line though until I actually see the card being paid off..0 -
just rang them. accepted with 4k limit on 17.5k earnings with no debt on any other cc's etc.
not great when i see some of the limits other people are getting, but with my low pay its not to be sniffed at!0 -
