    OK, so i am going to put that fortnight behind me as one of the worst ever and draw a line under it.

    Update alert!

    Good news......

    Brother is recovering well and was very chatty and laughing at OH's stories when we went to visit on Thursday. Yesterday he managed to get out of bed and walk to the loo with help and is able to watch a bit of TV. His swallow is improving and he says the numbness is getting better each day.

    So far OH's cheque hasnt bounced, it has been 4 days so I hope that means that it will be OK.

    I am feeling much better after being sent home from work yesterday :o I plan to do as little as possible over the weekend.

    Money news........

    In an attempt to take my mind off things I have managed to earn £120 extra this week in Mystery shops and matched betting. Christmas savings account stands at £346 not including the MS money.

    Today I shall check my banking and see how much I can throw at the debts this month, I would really like to pay Mum some money back.

    OH and boys have been contributing more in the home and things are running quite smoothly at the moment.
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    I also lost another 2lbs last week so only 2.5 lbs to my target:D

    OH has now lost over 2 stone and looks fab;)

    Just sorted banking out and I am dissapointed at what I have left still I should be able to clear the remaining £314 on CCs but Mumsy will have to wait another month:o

    End of October pay will have my backdated payrise on it so I am planning to pay the full £500 that I owe her out of that, then I can start hitting the additional borrowing on the Mortgage.

    Off to make some leek and potato soup and a batch of quorn chilli.
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
