Hope your visit went well and that you can all relax a wee bit - still worrying till he's out of hospital and back on his feet I know but none of your nightmare stuff.
Probably the best pressie you can offer him is to help his OH as he'll probably be feeling a bit useless. x

Went to visit brother last night and i have to admit that I was not prepared for what I saw.......

He was so ill and in so much pain he was just lying there slipping in and out of sleep and could barely communicate at all.

the nurse on the ward said that this is as well as he can be expected to be at the moment and suddely he will just turn a corner and start to recover quickly..........please let that be today.

Other news seems pointless and shallow so I shall leave it for today.

Thankyou all for your kind words xx

  • Many hugs sweetheart

Hospitals are horrible places in a lot of ways. Just remember the Nurse's words.

Keep busy and remember lots of people are sending vibes

    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Hi Lou

Couldn;t read and run.......don;t worry too much please. Your bro has had a long and invasive operation and will have been under anaesthetic for many hours....it will take a few days for this to fully clear from his system and also he may be sedated at the moment...hence the drifting in and out of sleep and incoherence/lack of concentration etc. Give him a few days until the effects have worn off.....I'm sure that's what the medical staff are also waiting for before they make any further prognosis.

    Hugs Hun.....
