What a week.......
Most importantly my Brothers operation went well, there are a few concerns about some nerve damage but the doctors think that it is only temperory.
He is of course very poorly and will be in hospital for some time but our main nightmare worries have not happened and he can still speak and has very little facial paralysis which again they think is temperory.
I will be going in to visit tonight.
Work is settling down into a routine and I have actually enjoyed this week I have a lovely bunch of kids this year and the adult learners are never much bother.
As suspected I will not be getting my full time wages this month as "someone" didnt get the paperwork filed ontime it will be backdated in the end of Octobers pay:rolleyes:
Money making efforts have been going well and I have managed to bag another £50 in matched bets, £10 withdrawn on daily chat cards and have 2 mystery shops lined up for my lunch breaks on Mon and Tues:D
Christmas neutral fund is looking healthy at £259 and I am expecting around £30 in mystery shop money to go in at the end of the month to add to this total.
Had a takeaway last night and it was blummin lovely too, despite that I have managed to lose another 2lbs this week taking me to 4.5 lbs of my target weight:j
I shall be back in a bit with my weekend to do list.......But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Thankyou all for your messages of support and good wishes, it really did help xxxxBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0

OK list for today is..........
- 5 loads of washing
- clean bathrooms
- meal plan for week
- placed £10 matched bet
- clean bedrooms
- go for 6mile walk
- visit brother in hospital
Not sure what to take in for Brother? I have a card but he cant read at the moment so mags are no good and not sure about flowers for a bloke (he is a very blokey bloke too) he is unable to eat at the moment too. Any ideas anyone? But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Hospitals deeply frown upon flowers these days. I'm sure someone less cynical than myself will tell you why.
No idea what to take him in though. Maybe get him one of those cards which will enable him to watch the telly?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
