Got home finally and relaxing with a nice cuppa and changed into my pink kaftan - from Next and black leggings - Next

glowgirl I've got a bit of music on too- my tastes is more Regina Spektor, never fails to cheer me up, she has such a quirky voice that to me is endearing:D

Bit later on I will be getting myself back into shape by putting some self tan on

All you folks who feel like giving up, why not put the offending posters on ignore? Then you'll never see their posts and can carry on regardless!

Just remember - it's only the internet. Don't worry about it!

That's what I've done, they can be as sarky as they want to be and it'll fall on deaf ears.

    For goodness sake -

idiots? playground? ignore? PMs (the forum equivalent of whispering)?

And I am the bully...? (OK then )

I would....but I can't.....I've only got about 6 things left in my winter wardrobe. I don't think my ingenuity will stretch that far!! Think it would be a great and realistically do-able challenge for those with more clothes than me though!

  • Yeah my winter wardrobe is a bit threadbare, i know i need a warm coat for starters. BUT, what she did was sell some stuff, and re-bought with the proceeds and she was allowed 'gifts' and donations, so i think it may be do-able. I don't spend a fortune on clothes anyway, but i do go through binges of buying clothes, which i would like to stop...... Lots to think about!!

Perfume is L by Gwen Stefani, which is what I normally wear for work. Massively commercial I know but I really like it.

I agree with this its gorgeous much better than most of the celeb stuff out there.
Also, I have had the exciting news that my boss is off on holiday for two weeks and a bit on Thursday and she has asked me to be in charge of the office! For a lowly intern who's only been here two months that's got to be good, right?

Yes that is definetly good, well done, they could well be monitoring you for something in the future so good luck:)

  • Shoulder pads are definitely coming back...But hopefully, a little more subtle this time. They can help the line of jackets and suits, as long as it is to balance things out, rather than extend past the hips' level.

I am baffled by this interest in the 1980s, as what I remember is poverty, racism, violence, aggression, rubbish music and even worse clothes. But what I remember most of all is that it was suddenly OK to detest people on the basis of not being able to buy fancy things. All of a sudden, if you didn't have the latest car, shoes, clothes or makeup, you were a failure and were to be treated with contempt.

Maybe the people who loved the period were wealthier and had the luxury of being able to abuse the poorer people around.

But today, I will be mostly wearing a grey knitted 3/4 length skirt, gipsy style black top with white polka dots and red/magenta cabbagey rose print. Hair in bun. Bare nails as stuffed up on the black cherry varnish. Bare faced as not leaving house today and time to give face a breather, bare foot for same reason.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

I can still see you! What's wrong with advising people to put those who annoy/upset them on ignore? Do you have to take issue with everything?! Surely by them putting you on ignore, you're able to continue making your comments with less objection and therefore less hindrance?

I don't have anyone on ignore, because no one bothers me enough and I quite like to know what people are saying. Maybe you'll make an interesting point one day... ;)
