  • cant believe im being fobbed of with really bad customer service when their product arrived incomplete, im now haing to drive 40 miles each way to return and item for exchange!!!!! and all they can do is apoligse and say theres nothing they can do!!!!1:mad::mad::mad:

    Tell them that you want then to send a replacement and pick up the faulty item at their expense. If they refuse, tell them that you will do the exchange in person but that you will charge them for you expenses.

    Make sure you have proof of what everything that has happened and happens.

    If they don't play ball, once you have the replacement invoice them for your travel expenses.

    If they refuse to pay, take them to the small claims court.

    80 mile round trip. What's that in petrol? £15? Would you really take a company to the small claims court for £15?

    Report them to trading standards is the easiest and most sensible solution.

    Taking them to the small claims court for the cost of petrol is a ridiculous idea.

    It's also not relevant. I have never said its acceptable for companies to flout the law. All I've said is its not worth going to the small claims court for such a small amount of money.
