Is anyone in need of a £5 lakeland voucher... they sent me that, along with a free sample roll of foil and £1 off foil - I only spent about £15

And should I take it as a positive sign that the ad for my job has now been taken down (there was no closing date), or am I over-analysing the situation?!

helen there is loads of info on the MSE site and there is a thread which is answered by the CCCS so its accurate and they can help - (except if you live in scotland) - dont be hassled by debt management companies - they are only out to make money and if you cant make head or tail of it then you can bet there is a fee for strtaters and its well hidden in the gobbledygook!!!
mudders glad you are keeping the place spotless!!!!! I cant have my stripes living in a pigsty!!!!! hope you are well honey - good to see you are busy with clients. xx BTW i would ask for a cash price!
pigpen glad everybody survived the hospital appointment - whats the flat like then - is it partly furnished - getting Jacob's stuff out will help you a bit as you said.
hex that sounds awful - is it rising damp then rather than some item that has caused it? sorry I dont know about these things but if your sister has had windows open it sounds like a serious problem. just what you dont need after a holiday!
tashja hope DD's arm heals quickly and cleanly with little scarring as possible - is she in pain? (((hugs)))
mudbath I'm with you Eughhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! they are horrible - I like Kazw's method! I might get the flame thrower out as well just to be sure!!
dolly enjoy your time without DD - it will be good just to have a change in routine - why dont you hire a couple of new DVD's and have a cosy night in for one of your evenings?

Lo-Lo and hope6804 - welcome to the thread - I will send you a pm in a moment which should help answer some of your questions!

soappie :p:p:p:p:p:p:rotfl: love the tom BTW and yes please i would love to see the photos. thank you xx
lav1979 that must be sooooo hard sweetie - (((hugs))) - maybe social need to be told where to go - and what about the child - what does she think about it all too? Sorry I cant offer practical advice having never been in that sitiaution but be sure to have a rant anytime you feel like it - we are here to listen. BTW I am behaving :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: for now!!!!
Hi rach honey - sorry to see you have a cold - how's the job - still going well I hope!

  • Monday - all levels - done - RAH!

DD1's BF came round this afternoon. Said he had to go by 6. At 6.45 she said he was going in a minute. So I didn't cook any dinner. Said I wouldn't until he went, as it wasn't fair on him to smell the cooking (and he is already coming for dinner on Wednesday). I started dinner ten minutes ago. And I made her do the dishwasher as we don't have any plates to eat on (her job as part of her income).

She's tired, hungry and irritable. Next time I will just tell him to go home (like I usually do). But hopefully she will get the hint that she doesn't eat if he overstays.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

My BIL said 'part furnished'.. basically it has the cooker, a washer and a fridge.. they desperately need a bed .. Had a sudden thought then.. I don't get many.. TRIKER YOU HAVE A PM..

and some pretty numbers for you!

They need all the basics now.. towels, tea towels, toaster, cleaning stuff, bin, shower curtain, tv, stereo etc.... amusing thing.. the supermarket refused to sell DS1 cutlery set because it contains knives and he hadn't any Id on him!!! How stupid is that? Dinner cutlery.. as if you'd buy that to injure someone.. talk about nanny state!!

  • Evening ladies.
Came back from work and my marvellous wonderful Mum had cleaned and tidied up as well as looking after the three gingerkids. What a fantastic Mum. Managed a few emails and stuff today but not a lot. Have been round to see my friend and to make the teas and cuddle the baby. DH is round there now in case she needs any jobs doing.
Hugs to all in need. x
