Valli you are brilliant - your paperwork/admin is fantastic - it doesnt matter that it wasnt your idea - the mere fact that you apply the principle and cover eventualities is excellent - you should be very proud of yourself - i think your talents are wasted at school - you need to be a P.A. !!!!!!!!
elly2 hugs for you and your Aunt -hope she gets through it ok - its not easy and very tiring so watch she doesnt overdo things.

i hope i explained that well enough! did i??
Thanks so much for the welcome, I'm feeling motivated already! Very nicely explained, although the HHI won't be happening. We don't believe in ironing in our house, the ironing board and iron have been relegated to the clutter pile in the garage!! I suggest you all do the same, it's very liberating. Remember, it's all in how you hang it out to dry!0 -
Welcome Hope and all other new people today.
I've added a couple more photos to the sister's wedding album on facebook. Toots - as you're not on there, would you like me to email them to you? It's just an extra one of my son and my daughter.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Evening all
I can't report a full list being done but I've done a little top up shop, cooked dinner, DH has washed up and put the rubbish out. Before bed I need to make the lunches for tomorrow, pack my gym stuff as I have a week's free trial at the local council place, put the washer on, empty the airer of yesterday's washing, put the washing away.
I'm still full of cold and need an early night again. DH reports that last night I was talking in my sleep saying 'I'm so ill' :rotfl:
I also really need to sort out a holiday cottage for our holiday at the end of September....
L-L - lovely to see you here.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Does Linked In really work Greenbee? Oh, and could I be cheeky and ask you if you would look my CV over for me if I emailed it to you? I think I have your address somewhere...
Yes, linked in DOES work... the job I've been going through the millions of interviews for was one I found on there - and it's been managed in a much better way than any of the ones through agencies etc. You can find me on there by searching in Linked In (or googling my name plus company name to narrow it down a bit!) - hex & jo are both on there too, and I'm sure you'll find LOTS of people you know! Lots of contractors advertise their availability via status updates, and they seem to find it an effective way of getting work.
I'm happy to look over your CV, but slightly daunted by the thought of it! If you let me know what kind of things you're looking for I'll see what I can find too!
Erm... I've been to work (two offsite meetings involved walking, so my step count isn't bad!)... come home... and am about to eat. No flying done yet, but I suspect sorting of clothes is probably going to be on tonight's list otherwise I won't be able to go to bed.
I've had an email from the HR guy re. Friday's interview saying he should be in a position to discuss next steps tomorrow morning... I think that sounds positive0
