Hello everyone! I'm new and am trying to declutter my house and keep it vaguely tidy! I've been lurking here for a week so I thought I'd give it a go, despite having an invitation to dinner at a friends tomorrow (which will take up most of the evening) and working later on Wednesday, but we'll see how it goes! Had a intense day at work today so maybe a bit of housework is what I need to clear my mind!! Wish me luck!
PS I'm changing the list a little bit to compensate for non-dining room action!!

Hi Lo-Lo :hello:
welcome to the thread hun, here's a christmas tree so that toots knows your new here:xmastree: you don't have to do eveything on the list, if you haven't got a dining room, then don't bother with it, you don't have to do each day's list on that day either, if you new i'd say start with level one and see what you can do, if you do more then that great going!
have a :coffee: and have a read of post one and it will tell you what you need to know (HHI is half hour ironing) and toots will send you a welcome PM soon!
have only been here a couple of weeks myself and it is a fab thread, with loads of support and already cos i have a list to work off, my house is looking cleaner and tidier and less cluttered!!:D
i hope i explained that well enough! did i??0 -
Valli i would be annoyed too!0

i dont think my FB is suitable for my kids somehow:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
FB: I would reject my DSS's tbh as I just dont want to know what they are up to. I have never answered my brothers or neices requests although I do have my sisters and one SIL on. Does this make me a bad person? If I added them then I would have to think more about what I post if this makes sense.

Johanne its so lovely to see you posting again - i noticed you had popped in last week - how is Pumpkin - she must be growing up fast - and you are working and your learning to drive again -still doing uni - its all happening - I hope life in general is better for you these days - i did miss you both xxx
soappie yes i will sort out any stragglers - you are to rest and recover this week and thats an order!!!!!
mrs mh hope you have managed the weight loss - have a good week catching up - I am sure baby will be fine and you will feel that you are re-gaining control!!!
I am pleased to see all the teachers having time to catch up on their housework but .............. (you knew there would be a BUT!!) try to do a little preparation for going back so that its not all left to the last week - even if its only 30 mins it will make it easier in the end - ok i will shut up now!!!!
me i dont think you should be worrying too much about your own place just now - you did really well getting the loft done - thats a big job - once you get your Mum and dad moved then life will return to some sort of normality and you can crack the whip on those teenagers to help you get home sorted - just do what basics you can just now and save your strength for going back and for to your parents'.
juliejim tell DD the recession has hit the toothfairies too - some have been made redundant and the others are having to fly more miles and they dont aklways get around everyone in one night!!
hippy the managerial role sounds about right - well done!!! And very well done on your room of doom- excellent work
valli still havent read back last week but I see you have a bad back so i hope you are resting it and not overdoing heavy lifting - put that iron down NOW!!!!!
Jo honey I am keeping everything crossed for you finding another job very soon.
TAG glad you have wee bruv hrelping you today - hope the work goes well.
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last
