I also cleaned the cloakroom and sorted some clean washing for putting away, and put the now dry kayaking gear away till next time.

We have a major mould growth problem . You can smell damp/mould when you come in the house - you couldn't before we went on holiday, and some stuff I left on the pantry floor last week (cleaned out lunch box/bags) are now covered in mould. The two rooms with an issue are at opposite ends of the house which is really worrying. My sister (who very kindly house and animal sat) has been opening windows and leaving the door open for the pets so it isn't that. She also said the smell got steadily worse all week.

Some horrid children used my laptop whilst in holiday and have left it full of crumbs, and the left click thing below the tracker pad is now not working . Any suggestions for how I clean it? I have tipped it upside down but it is still sticking.

Quillion - Can i be rrrrrrrrrreally cheeky and ask you to email me the CV clinic stuff? I have been looking for 5 months and cant even get a basic admin/shop/cleaning work job never even had a refusal letter so no idea where im going wrong. I suspect its my large amount of temp work (not through agency) followed by maternity leave, followed by my present "avon rep"/SAHM status. :(

Hope the driving lesson went well! If you want me to have a look at your CV or to talk about it, then give me a shout. The fact that you are doing something should work in your favour. Personally I have always found return to work mums to be some of the most hardworking and reliable people I have employed!
  • Ha ha, greenbee that is because we have never stopped working, and have merely exchanged one form of work for another.

I shouldn't look at the csa thread, it always makes me feel dirty(not in a good way) and horrified in equal measure.

Woodburner has arrived, she weighs about the same as a small car, and is chocolate brown majolica enamel, and simply gorgeous. I may put her picture in the local yokel :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
