Hi all
Huge hugs to all who need them
I've not done much on the list today but I have concentratd on the LR so I'll get a start for that on a different day.
Also been to library, council offices to get more bin bags, toy shop for DD.
Trying to sort out finances as they are getting in a state but can't work out the best route for us, a debt management company contacted us and sent paperwork but I really need to talk to them 1st as I don;t quite get what they are offering [DH doesn't get it either] and neither of us are thick - just plain stupid with money and on very low income
Right, moaning over with for now, going on a bike ride once DD is out of the bath and ready - could be a long wait!!

Afternoon folks!
A huge welcome back to tootles! Please could I have a star for today.....now, whilst everyone else on the thread might be falling off their chairs in amazement that i've completed a day during the holiday please ignore them. I've done every day, every star, every challenge, everything whilst you've been away {Mudbath hopes toots doesn't read back over the thread at all and see i've done very little :rotfl::rotfl:}
I've got my neice and nephew round (13 and 15 respectively), they're fab and all the children get on really well so i've taken the opportunity to blitz the kitchen. If it needed wiping it got wiped, if it didn't need wiping then it still got blitzed anyway! Very satisfying.
Finally found a roof man who'll come and finish sorting our roof out. He gave a quote which is reasonable but i'm wondering if I should phone up and ask if he'll give me a cash price. What do people reckon? Is it too cheeky?
Right, off to do some baking and blitz my clinic as i've got two new clients this week. The website is working.
Hope you're having a good day xxxxx0 -
Have put ironing away and ironed everything that's ready to iron. I have a few bits drying on the line.
Bathroom floor mopped so drying...
Still haven't found my camera case (which has a memory card in it) but am immensely cheered up because I have checked - I had a 64Mb and a 16Mb card - and the missing one is the 16Mb.
Inspiration flashed - DD was faffing with my camera and must have picked it up in the case so I have checked in the drawer in the bureau - there it was! Note to self - must sort out bureau drawers - ugh!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Well done Mudbath- I would ask him what his best price was and give you a quote for work done and not an estimate (as then they can change it)
He can always so that the price quoted is his best price. Maybe worth getting another quote and saying XYZ can do it for £xxxJanuary Grocery 11/3740 -

Back from hospital.. I have to go back Friday... oh the glee!! But I shouldn't be there too long.. i'm still alive. and so are the staff.. JUST!! lol...
Off to tesco for foody fings and I am nipping to view BIL's flat for DS1 at 5ish.. and see what, if anything they will need.. Tomorrow we are hoping to get the stuff they have here.. ie cot and highchair and other Jacob bits installed in the flat and some food etc and check out anything else they'll need, such as pans etc.. ooh I have some of those here too for them.... that will empty DD2's room drastically and mean decoraing may commence hopefully.
Spent £116 in Clarks.. the small 3 are now sorted for school and winter.. just the next 4 to do.. and they are most problematic.. I'll do 3 of them tomorrow I think.
Got DS1 and DD1 their main christmas presents today so that is 5 of them almost sorted.. OH wants to keep Polly.. ggrrr.. and flyin wise.. I have done nothing.. I even left the laundry out in the rain.. which I hung out last night.. mainly bedding and towels so it can stay there.
Oh.. I loaded the DW.. there you go.. I flied!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

In that case, we an always re-write your CV again... if you send me some of the job descriptions of the stuff you are interested in, then I can give you some examples. In the meantime, get everything updated on linked in, as I'm getting a lot of enquiries through it!0 -
