Afternoon all!
It was morning when I started catching up on the thread (just). Went to starbucks yesterday afternoon with OH and had a coffee, only it was very strong, and as I rarely have caffeine (I drink redbush tea normally), it had quite a strong effect on me. I was awake until 2 this morning, and also got stomach ache and felt sick (IBS), so have made a mental note to not drink strong coffee in future, particularly in the late afternoon on an empty tummy. As a result, I didn't get up til 11 as I dozed on and off after OH left for shooting at 9.30.
Hugs to all who need or want them.
fedup that shark fin looks really good!
I am very aware that at the beginning of the week, I promised to be a good flylady, and have popped in very little, so I'm going to find my lists and update, and then if anyone is around, I will do a HHC after. OH did lots of vacuuming at my request the other day, so should be able to cross a couple of bits off. I need to make the carrot and pesto lasagne for dinner at some point, as it'll be easier to do during the day and then finish off later, than try and make it from scratch later when I'm tired.

We had to go the long way home as they wanted it to re route us :rotfl: Miss A wanted to use it to get down to church this morning!
We washed 13 cars, 2 virtual cars and made £85 towards the fund for Emelia's missionary tripwell worth doing. Kids had a great time, Emelia's dad is a fireman and borrowed a hose to rinse the cars down. Kids loved spraying the cars and themselves :rotfl::D

goodness Kazw thats been quite a project - well done for doing it yourself and saving money - it sounds quite big - are you going to be doing more veggies or is it to be a haven of tranquility!!
Yes i have to agree the dressing-gown was heavy and you would have laughed watching me trying to get it on the line with the gale blowing here! but I only did it (there is still a few more bits to hang out) and then came back on here for a rest! You see i have learned to pace myself - well sometimes!:rotfl:
sexy i find strong ground coffee does that to me too - I usually have a latte or ask for a weak coffee and that is ok. hope you feel beter later. YOu should have kept quiet about your promise from earlier I had forgotten all about it:rotfl:
valli sounds good - have a lovely time in case i dont catch you tomorrow - o you need all 5 stars???
oooh that will be good sexy!
AnW'sMum - WTG the car washing crew :T-:T thats a fantastic amount - are they all a bit soggy? yes I am sure it must have helped the steps total - I have been putting washing out and as I can only carry small amounts I have been back and fore a few times - i should count steps and then add them up until i get a pedometer.
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Afternoon gang.
Just popping in quickly before going and doing some more painting. The cleaning has taken a backseat at the mo, and downstairs looks like a bombs gone off! On a brighter note though i now have a lovely bathroom and the hallway is half done.
Thanks to everyone who's wished me well and for all the hugs, I'm ok, stressed about the outcome but we'll get there in the end! I'm just winding myself up over it all and worrying about all the things that could go wrong etc. Thinking of how im going to cope is another huge worry! Moan over anywho.
Ishtar- Our little one was weaned at 4months, which i hated, the older two weren't weaned untill 6months. Milly was 11weeks prem and the consultant wanted her to be weaned really early. Oh the funny looks we got when feeding her outside of th house, she was only 7lb when she was weaned! It was horrible. Have you thought of maybe a little bit of babyrice with LO's milk?
Hope everyone is good. Im going to get some flying done after i've done some more painting. x0
