Great idea with the washing, I shall put a load out now and count my steps. Then we are off to see if we can get sandals for hols, will have to use the new toy to get there :rotfl:

I have taken down my living room curtains today and washed them. It is lovely and blowy here so i thought i would take full advantage.

I had to do three wash loads one for each curtain and then the swag. God only knows how i am going to get that back up on my own !!!!

Just going to do the tie backs then jump in the shower for lo next doors irthday party xx

Have washed one curtain on cold wash to see how it came out - seems ok, will see how it dries and then do the other one later in the week if the weather holds

Courgette cake baked to use them up!

Bags into charity shop binbag and that's me done for this week

House looking ok which is nice, ready to start again tomorrow!

Not posted lately but I am still flying when I can.

So far today I have finished off cleaning the oven having left it over night with the goo in it - lovely shiny shelves but now I have to get more stuff to clean the top oven/grill.

Have also defrosted my freezer and decided that instead of going out for dinner tonight we will have the steak that was hiding in the bottom.

OH has finished all the ironing and I have managed to keep the kitchen that I blitzed yesterday fairly tidy.

Will be going to the gym tonight after we have taken Ashia home from work so I am going to spend an hour on my knitting (haven't done any for about 15 years so I need the practice!!).

Hope everyone is having a decent weekend.

We are buying it privately from someone who lives in Hayes Chase. If you could give me directions that would be fab - we have to get from there back to the Purley Way and I should be ok from there. I'm not going on motorways, we found a good way that went from our place across the countryside to Dorking and then up the A217 and then cut up to WWickham. It was a bit complicated tho and we had to use DH's sat nav on the way back to get out again! That's what I'm worried about, not sure if he will have the sat nav or if I will!

Blimus the avitars are the pictures people have under their name and above their post count - can you see them? I have one of pencils and pencil shavings, and Toots has one of Tootifrootis and there are lots of other nice ones.

finally managed to convince little one to go out to play.....hes fed up cos all of his little friends are away on holiday.

We have read harry potter this morning a bit more, then he wanted to watch indiana jones.

I find it really hard to clean with him under my feet.....!

So im off to blitz round while he is outside. Where are the black bags for all of his toys??????????????????

Hi all

I have so far today cleaned and tidied the scullery. Just need to do a quick tidy of the livingroom and I'm calling quits apart from the ironing of the school stuff.

Toots Piper is fine today and eating well she had 2 bowls of broth at lunchtime so she'll be fit for her big day tommorrow. I might need to buy shares in Kleenex though.



could someone cut my hands off the new Ikea catalouge has just been delivered!
