Thankfully DH was never a huge footy fan so I didn't have that problem."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Don't worry, it's a fact of life for me. I hate being in 'that' club but I am a fully paid up member so have to get on with it.
Right I am off to bed as we are car washing at church tomorrow to raise funds for a girl who is off to do some missionary work soon.
Catch you all later xOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Soappie would it go like this lol xx
Today at work on the perfume counter a frazzled, impatient woman with her fringe stuck to her forehead with sweat, dressed in jeans and a casual shirt with skanky sandals on her feet with no make up on and chipped nail varnish her fingernails stood there. I did not want to serve her and hoped that if i left her for five minutes before she managed to get my attention she would go away.
As she finally paid for the item i asked "Do you have your beauty card for the points?" She looked me straight in the eye and said "Do I look like I have a beauty card?". I bit my tongue and paused for a moment before smoothly replying "well, you might use it for your perfume purchases" Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -
Soappie would it go like this lol xx
Today at work on the perfume counter a frazzled, impatient and old and ugly woman with her fringe stuck to her forehead with sweat, dressed in jeans and a casual shirt with skanky sandals on her feet with no make up on and chipped nail varnish her fingernails stood there, quietly drumming her fingers on my nice clean glass counter. I did not want to serve her and hoped that if i left her for five minutes before she managed to get my attention she would go away. I was concerned she might be one of those travellers that are illegally encamped in the top car park at the moment - but then she wasn't wearing gold hooped earrings.... and she didn't have any Big Issue ID round her neck or mags under her arm but she looked like she could have...
As she finally paid for the item i asked "Do you have your beauty card for the points?" She looked me straight in the eye and said "Do I look like I have a beauty card?". I bit my tongue and paused for a moment before smoothly replying "well, you might use it for your perfume purchases" and boy, she certainly needed that perfume to counteract the smell of her sweaty forehead and other bodily parts

fedup I have been looking on ebay for window coverings, ordered some blinds which look nice, will have a look for the curtains, thanks for that
Miss A hope you have a wonderful holiday! We are taking monopoly with us for the next holiday that my little boy got at a car boot sale
Oh I forgot, I shouldn't say this but, I did iron on holiday as the TDs there made the clothes a creased ball......I actually quite enjoyed it but I think it was more because I escaped on my own to do it
Watching Invasion of the Bodyscratchers, Sky3 wish I wouldn't but interesting as it is gross! I've been packing and flinging, but more flinging than packing, after DP picked up his car. We have been and emptied 3 boxes of kitchen stuff (things I won't need before move) my BM, actifry and food processor. Can't take over stuff for the other rooms until carpets in but could get that done as we don't have many boxes.
I have flung 7 BIN BAGS worth of stuff and packed 2 boxes.....shows how much junk we have and how ruthless I am being!
Tomorrow includes (darn weather has shunted most of this across to Sunday!)
Pack car with stuff for new house - Flymo, kitchen boxes
New house garden cut lawn
Bring back petrol mower/strimmer to cut this lawn (at least the front to keep neighbours quiet!)
Pull up last bits of carpet from stairs etc - I think they are on with spray glue and staples, eww!!
Sort TV aerial cable out
Sort out phone line for new house, which presently goes into DS2s room....not a hope the phone is staying in there
Buy DPs step mam birthday present and take it to her
Pack for hols on Monday, must remember my present off my Dad or he will be upset if I don't wear it and also his mugwith a meerkat on
2 washer loads, hope they dry on time!
Sort out money for carpet fitters on Monday
ORDER A DISHWASHER!!! He's finally said I can definately have one, now he knows I won't back down with a smaller FF! Found a 15% code for littlewoods so might use that. One day I might be more organised...........

Morning ladies - I guess I'm up first?
Since 5 I have completed an application form, tidied my desk and done the first HHI (of many to come..).
Quick 5 minutes on here then another HHI & sort out the "what we need to do today" list as some sort of normailty ensues tomorrow with me getting back to work, DS to summer camp, DH back to work. The most urgent job is staring at me through my office window - I have a meadow not a lawn - but maybe 6.15 on a Sunday is a tad early to start mowing!! :rotfl:
Must also sort out a new broadband today - AOL is far too expensive these days.
see you later, its looking to be a lovely sunny day,
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
