yes I know what you mean - just putting stuff away keeps you moving - i havent a pedometer either. I was going to get one to start doing rosepink's idea of walking in the house but I couldnt see myself doing hundreds of trips up and down the hallway to achieve the levels she manages - she was doing very well with it.
which reminds me if I am going to do it - rosepink how many steps have you from your front door to your furthest point and how often do you do it in an hour/ day?
I must admit I've been very bad since I had that virus and I've not got back into it. I am determined to get my step count up again as it's been very low. It's about 15 steps from the front door to furthest point, and I usually walk there and back about 25 times and then have a sit down! I built up to that tho, I started off doing it 15 times, then the next week 20 times. And when I started off I was doing it every couple of hours but then I found I was recovering quicker and could do 25 every hour which was good. I don't know how many times a day I was doing that, I just kept going until I was reaching my step target for the day or until I was so worn out that I physically could not do anymore.

Toots if you do this, please do not overdo it. You must listen to your body and if you are tiring yourself with walking you might not have the energy to do other things that you want to do. Make sure you take care of yourself xx

oh yes, I want to watch that too - will have to do that on Monday. It sounds like a great programme.

Zoe sorry you had bad news at the hospital, hope it’s nothing too serious

Me hope you are feeling a bit better now

Natty, I’m sorry about your friend, but really it is her with the problem and hopefully she will realise how selfish she has been over this and realise that her friendship with you is more important than a few quid.

Hello Miss A, you sound really excited about your holiday (I’ve got a feeling you have the same name as me – are you sometimes referred to as being in Wonderland?)

Big hugs Me, you sound really tired and stressed. You’ve been working so hard lately, and I think you are a real star

We still haven't had dinner yet! Neither of us are hungry! We went over to West Wickham today to look at a car and we both really liked it and have said we will have it. We are going back to get it next Saturday so we can sort the insurance out and everything. The trip took about 4 hours so I had a nice sleep when we got back as it was a really long day yesterday and a long time in the car today getting lost in London! What a confusing place! Not looking forward to going next week as I will have to come back on my own in the truck, I will probably be never seen again! I'm letting DH drive the new car home as he's all excited about getting it and it's nice for him to be the first to play with a new toy!

    Spose we'd better eat something...

Stars please! - two of them, for Tuesday's and Thursday's lists. I've made a start on the other lists too, but had unexpected guests and so making dinner and entertaining them stopped me. Will try to complete more tomorrow - too tired now, and anyway, the littlie wants to snuggle in bed, and that *always* comes before housework :-)

boddy good to hear that you are no worse - hope it stays that way - sounds like you have 'interesting' neighbours
Quillion hi sweetpea -yes i think probably your DH is right that it 'devalues' it if you say it too often. good point. its nice to see LO spreading his wings though - i know it will be strange but it does make it easier if you need to be away or anything - i am sure he will soon be asking to go and stay at nannan's!!
re the job centre - you can but ask- I am afraid I dont know much about the system these days.
Orkneystar oh huge (((hugs))) hun - that is so annoying - photos are priceless moments to look back on -I would be crying too.
me well done :T- no you dont need the extras for a star and good for DS but he needs to keep at it and you need to be strong with him! (sorry for nagging - forgive me!) and stop apologising for your posts - it sounds like you have a load of stress building up and that will give you the headaches and the exhaustion so if it helps to let off steam here - feel free - we can take it !!!
Jo - well done with the shopping - its not easy making it stretch but you will manage I know and you will have a job soon too.
greenbee are you not meant to be relaxing for the weekend?
fedup depends on how upset you will be if the curtains are ruined when you wash them?????

I have sat on my backside all day playing games and cross stitching, Oh I did go for a bath but had HRH in with me which means my magazine got soaked:rolleyes:. Off now to lie on the couch with a shawl, eat chocolate and pringles and watch charlie and the chocolate factory. Tomorrow I may look like an umpalumpa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
