hey fedup - try here for lots of cleaning tips!! One trip for brass is Brown Sauce! There are tips for curtains, but dont know about dry clean only....but have a look there may be something useful on here xx

I have decluttered my tea....which was lush and cheap!

Went out shopping for food. Went to B&M, home bargains and tesco.

All in all i spent about £65 of my precious reserves, and I was £3 at the greengrocers the other day and £1 at the farm shop for eggs and that should be me for the month!! And that included 3 pairs of school trousers for little one and a lunchbox and a pair of shoes.

Well, apart from milk and bread, I shouldnt need mcuh more.

Ive done some bits of flying since i came home, so am off to find my list xx

Can you wash curtains on a suitable WM prog that are dryclean only
Does anyone know what is good to clean copper and brass  I have a candle holder that needs a good clean up

Vacuum curtains with an upholstery brush. Copper and brass come up well with yogurt...

I've cleaned up my dad's laptop (I found a staple, dog-hair and crumbs in the keyboard; and the keys and casing and now white and not brown...)

I've also cleaned the microwave and the toaster... and fridge and DW outside, so might actually complete the kitchen list! I've also had a nice walk... only 5 miles but it was nice to take the dog out and see the countryside around here.

Just doing software updates and checking HD permissions on my mum's iMac...

Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend!

Have been busy today. Went into town and it was heaving. I do hate living on the south coast in the holidays!

Off to get dinner now - fish and chips (home made of course!) I think...

Well tea is eaten with a choccie mousse afterwards.

Cleaned out a kitchen cupboard while it was cooking which was v.good and it is done now!

Jo, thanks for the linky for the cleaning tips - will try brown sauce on it! How weird!! :D

Not sure about the lined polyester curtains as the link says if they say dry clean then stick to this. I thought about popping them onto a v.delicate wash prog and a slow spin with non-bio liquid

Tomorrow looks nice and easy - bit of baking and washing and windows. Oh no just remembered the dreaded ironing
