  • 000203D4.gif everyone.
Have done a bit of ironing, hoovered and cleaned up the livingroom. I have just decluttered OH and DS1, they need to stay over night at a BB as the gig is too far away so just me and the 2 little ones tonight.

FFP thats good to hear that piper is a bit better - hopefully she is over the worst now. Dont be overdoing it yourself - you need a bit of rest to catch up on this week.

Thanks Toots I hope she is well enough by Monday to start school. She has been asking every morning for weeks now if this is the day she goes! I'm not intending to do too much today just make downstairs presentable should anyone appear but I doubt they will. How are you today??????

00020329.gif Miss A you must be excited going away on you holidays. Have a great time with nana and granddad and W (and mum when she gets there). 000203FE.gif 000203E6.gif (sorry didn't have a caravan smilie but I had a camping one!)

This is what you mean, W loves them as well. Saw you went to Folly farm as well the other day, we took Miss and W (when he was a baby) and had a great day out. DH took Alice on the fair ground rides including the waltzer, she was 3 at the time!

Yes thats the ones.....I had a look on the internet when we came home and found that same site....as well as lots of others!

He will have to wait now for one either until christmas or Im working :rotfl:

Yes Folly Farm was a great day - and so much for them to do that we didnt even go to the funfair and still spent the whole day there! The boys were more interested in the Pirates adventure playground than the animals though!

  • Afternoon all

Yes Toots - I promise I will take it easy - infact when I got back home after dropping of DD for work I stopped and had a MCDonald's breakfast - just for some 'me' time and then came home and went to bed. I have only just woken up :D:D

I feel so guitly that I said to Mum that I was jealous of my sister..... She has been off work for ages with depression and I know how hard this is as Mum has had clincial depression for years and it has taken months of fighting to get her treated - they seem to offer very little to people over 60 - sorry another rant:o

Anyway sister has had depression for a few months and is able to stop work as is married with another wage coming in and no kids and tiny mortgage. If I am honest I would have given up work ages ago because I have struggled for months with home, full time work, helping Mum from long distance and having 2 GT's, constant pain in foot/leg, thyroid issues and several bouts of illness. But I can't as we would loose the house and I could not face living in temporary accomodation with said teenagers.

Still Mum should get the keys for new bungalow next week and I have the following week off to help them move so may be they is an end in sight from the 7 day weeks I seem to have been doing recently.

So I must not sit here feeling sorry for myself and crying - I will get up and put some washing on and start with the kitchen as it is so yuky it is becoming a health hazard!!!:o I think I will take it in HHC's today and see what I get done - there is only so many hours I can work!!

I am so sorry to go bleugh with this........

Who knows I might even post pictures on here for you all to admire! All this getting organised is certainly helping me get more exercise as well which has to be a bonus. I don't have a pedometer but my step count must be a lot higher as a result of all this industrious activity!
yes I know what you mean - just putting stuff away keeps you moving - i havent a pedometer either. I was going to get one to start doing rosepink's idea of walking in the house but I couldnt see myself doing hundreds of trips up and down the hallway to achieve the levels she manages - she was doing very well with it.
which reminds me if I am going to do it - rosepink how many steps have you from your front door to your furthest point and how often do you do it in an hour/ day?
orkneyStar hope the pc is ok
elly mmmmmmm yes wee DS certainly does need his little haven!!!! well somebody will have to share to that big DS can get a bed!!!!
hollyh well done to your DS's
aunty crafyty that extra - marked 'urgent' has been on your list all week - can we help you with it - does it have to be an assignment on your course work or on any subject?
FFP ooooh fingers crossed for Piper's big day - that would be so disappointing for her to miss. Glad you have peace tonight - relax and rest.
me you have far too much on your plate - so dont you dare apologise for ranting or feeling bleurgh! I dont mean to offend you but despite her illness your sister could be helping your parents a lot more just now. Is she not approachable to ask her to help? I think you are doing an amazing job of keeping everything together and I can understand how you feel about losing the house but be careful angel - your health and well being is far more important than bricks and mortar.
You seriously need to get those teenagers helping more - the kitchen shouldnt become a 'health hazard' - they are old enough to wash and dry dishes - I think you need to create some house rules once you get past the move and you are not travelling back and fore. I wish i was nearer so i could crack the whip on them for you - i might not be fit enough to do much but I would get the teenagers working while you were out!!!!
Take time out evry hour - just 5/10 mins to sit down and catch your breath. huge energy giving (((hugs)))) being sent.
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

All the washing is dry, folded and put away.

I've cut the back lawn and edged it and swept up, the front is still OK. It never grows as quickly as the back.

I just remembered that the photos from when my DD2 was a bridesmaid went online today so I've had a look through them and put the ones with her on in a favourites folder. Bride? What bride? :D

    me ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ wot she said :)

toots I think rach said she had a contact for a basic pedometer, perhaps we should get one each and set ourselves some targets based upon our 'normal' step count as anything over and above that has to be beneficial. BUT if we do that you are not to wear yourself out ok. You'll laugh now, I was putting stuff in the carrievan that Miss A was passing to me and I spied the border was full f weeds, so once the first bits were packed I got the fork out and got rid of the weeds, my dot2dotting is expanding outside :rotfl:
