Too wet to get outside. :(

Played tennis on the Wii - good fun. Have to try the Wii Fit next.
Will get the bed changed before I jump in it.
Bathrooms - well they'll just have to wait for another day.

    Have a great week everyone.

    Morning all...
Been awake most of the night...baby wanted feeding loads of times (think he's ready for solids now, but only 5 months old so trying to wait a while longer), and had another wet bed (with associated tantrum) from 4yo DD. She gets so frustrated with herself, but I think the frequency of this is because she's starting 'big school' in September. She was predominantly dry at night earlier in the holidays.

OH made me a cup of tea at 5am - almost brought me to tears, the kindness of it - but I gave up trying to sleep at 6am and started sorting out the second bedroom/office. Have now listed all books on Amazon/Green Metropolis. Not sure whether they will sell or not, but can at least try.

I can actually see the surface of my desk now :D Have been keeping a scrapbook of selected works of art drawn/painted by DD. These are now firmly stuck into the scrapbook!

Today I am planning to do the following:

    Load of washing (obviously!)
Fruit picking at local PYO farm - weather looks to be great again today, so will make the most of it.
Cook dinner - toad in the hole, roast potatoes, etc
Bake, so that OH doesn't eat junk at lunchtimes.
Knit some more of DSs winter cardigan (else it'll be too small when he gets to wear it!)
    Sleep.

    Not necessarily in that order!

Hope you all have a great day.

Must also sort out a new broadband today - AOL is far too expensive these days.
    Moam

Think I had better check my AOL mailbox (I never use it)

Moam do you know this site?

    http://www.thinkbroadband.com/

Useful for checking what is on offer and the forums are good as well.

If you need to contact AOL I think the advice used to be to phone in the morning as you got the Irish call centre which seemed to have more discretion over the deals they could offer.

AnW could the church service not be held outside, then you could join in with the singing as you wash the cars! Have a good time.

    I have done the ironing
Sorted out a heap of socks and underwear
Fire alarm tested :o (doing to wash the grill pan now, I HATE doing that)

Just waiting for the sun to come round to go fence painting.

    morning all

chinese was yum last night, I was relatively restrained!! we then watched an opera on sky arts that was live from Glyndenbourne, a light hearted comic opera so easy to watch. I did drift off just near the end - was tired as we'd been up at 6.15am! So I ended up going o bed at 10pm and consequently have been up since 7 this morning!

Have done a couple of bits off the list, will find and update in a moment. feel quite motivated this morning but of course limited in what i can do til DH gets up!! Guess I could do the Mr T order though.

quillion - yes for the pcos. because i was on the (mini)pill before and the woman didn't take enough blood the dr wants to rule out all the other possibilities, apparently even though i def have the cists there's always the risk it's some kind of androgen thing or something!

    - i used to hate all the tourists being around in the summer...partly why we got married in the winter!

rose - west wickham in kent? which garage? you may've been a few metres from where i live!i can give you some good directions on how to get back to the motorway if it helps. you should be able to get home in about 1.5 hours i think.

As I finally paid for the item the assistant asked me all simperingly "Do you have your beauty card for the points?" I looked her straight in the eye and said "Do I look like I have a beauty card?". I could see her bite her tongue and pause a moment before smoothly replying "well, you might use it for your perfume purchases"

    It amused me anyway
