Another thing I do is, every so often I photocopy all my cards...bank cards, loyalty, top up, store cards etc. Much easier than writing all the details down AND all the contact info is there. I lay about 8 out then turn over (you have to reposition them so they are 'back to front'. )
Then if my bag is stolen/lost I have the info!
(I did have my bag stolen once)

ETA I have been requesting on Facebook ...I'm getting there!

valli thanks, why is it when other people come up with an idea it seems so simple yet I had never thought of it!! (I blame my medication :rotfl:)

DH has a day off today, so we will make a start on all of this......does that count as flying?

P.S just commented on your FB pic.....lovely to see you at last :D

embb the kittens are little monsters, but are a good reason for getting up in the morning! x

  • Morning gals, Not sure how much i'm going to manage today, but determined to get the kitchen done and another coat of paint in Lewis's room. Maybe this is a bit too much though. Im very bruised and battered this morning, so just going to take my meds and hope they kill of the worst of the pain and i can hopfully get some stuff done then.
So....Jezza kyle, cuppa and meds! Happy days :)
    Hope everyone is good today?
How are you feeling Toots AntiB's still doing there thing?
Hope your feeling a little better today ginger (((((hugs)))))
LL- another thought for your organising, maybe buy a heap of birthday cards and write them out, then seal the envolope and put on the front 'DS 21st' That sort of thing. My nana did this for us, cards for 16th, 18th etc, and little cards for the greatgrandchildrren. I think my mums got cards for me going on till i'm 40! Its a very special thing to open on birthdays/christmas. Aww i love my nana x

Hello Ladies and Gent if your still here.

I am still flying, just very little as not doing too well ME/CFS wise, so trying to rest up as much as I can, also had to deal with a house full of flying ants since Thur!! Not the sort of thing you want to come home to when you feel like cr*p, they seem to of died off for now but Landlord has said if they come back let him know and he'll get someone in to have a look.

I'm reading as and when I can get a min, even read a bit while in bed with my bday pressy, an iPod Touch!! I love it!!!

Thank you to pigpen, toots and soappie for doing the lists/stars (although haven't really managed to get any)

Hope your all ok, glad to see your home toots :) take it easy
    Good Luck with hospital pigpen
    *Hugs* to all poorlies

ETA Just had a look back and wanted to thank Lady-L and Jo for birthday wishes, although guessing it's Facebooks fault as I hadn't told anyone it was my birthday!! lol

,left me washing out though so that's dripping wet  but it'll dry eventually.
Glad I am not the only one.:rotfl:
Went out yesterday evening, took the bedding off the whirly and put it (whirly) in the shed, came back in, bit later thought 'where is laundry basket?'
So wandered round getting more and more puzzled, then realised the basket was lying on the garden bench, which was OK except when I went out to get it I discovered it had started to rain .
So bedding draped over airer overnight.

Right... really must stop faffing about on here and get myself ready for work...
    nah not really:A

DS's other Gran died yesterday:o She had lung cancer, still came as a big shock though

And although it sounds bad Daz was driving up to take me back to Preston yesterday when I found out, so he had to drive all the way back home again, as I couldnt leave DS:cool:

And I do believe that my depression is back again, stupid little things bugging me and upsetting me:o

    So all in all......

In my defence I have every loyalty card going (I'm VERY loyal) top up cards for all our phones debit card credit card...and writing all the bumf down is too much.
If you haven't access to a photocopier you could scan them.

While I am at it I also have, at home, photocopies of passports and I take a copy with me on holiday just in case...
this would work with driving licences too...

I cannot claim this is my idea I think I read it somewhere once.
