In my more like 45min C, I (in reverse order) watered the garden (5 watering cans full), planted a few more plants while I was out there eeeek I have a spider crawling on my head, put away last nights washing up, put away dry laundry and hung out wet washing, emptied the bin, and printed out something off the computer. It felt like more than that! But I'm glad I did the gardening, the plants really needed water after such a hot weekend and I'm glad I've managed to put some more plants in. Still a few more to go in.

You know when some hhc's are more successful than others? Well that last hhc was goooood
I managed to clear a sizeable chunk from today's list and am probably more aheaqd now than I ever have been for a kitchen day (although did start last night).
DS1 is on his computer upstairs and DS2 is in paradise as there's a run of dinosaur documentaries on Eden and all is calm and clean and happy in the Oreilly house!
We're going to make some Fimo dinosaurs when his doc is finished and I'll take them to the beach after lunch.

Just seen on facebook that my friend's late husband passed his degree with a 2.1. He would have been so chuffed! We're going to have a beer and a curry for him to celebrate at the weekend. He was well known in the local curry house!!!0

Morning everyone!
Lovely to see you posting LadyL, as always, if there is anything I can do to help, let me know.
Zoe I hope all goes well with your knee/hip and that you don't have to have them replaced. Was it the fall that caused the problem, or the other way around?
Ginger a big congratulations to your friend's late husband on his results - enjoy the curry for him.
natty and Tag nice to see you back.
So far today, I've replied to an email, put one load of washing in the machine, enjoyed a few cups of tea, caught up on here, and really done very little in terms of flying, so, I must get a wriggle on and do something in the kitchen - will have to empty the dishwasher first so that I can clear the sides and sink of dirty dishes.
Anyone fancy a HHC 12-12.30? I suppose some of you will be eating lunch soon, but anyone who got up late like me and won't be eating til later, could join me.

I was with you rosepink on the HHC, but didn't post. Just had coffee.
:bdaycake:Happy birthday bevan!!
I think you've had some brilliant suggestions LL. Huge hugs from me. I suggest that if he doesn't already know, that this is a good time for OH to learn how to use all the household appliances. My MIL taught my FIL to cook some simple dishes too.
witchwoopiggy - I delete things from my list, but if you'd like to cross them off, then click advanced reply, highlight the text to be crossed out, then click on the S with a line through it. You can delete any items that don't applyu to you - eg, clean out pets if you don't have any, and if you want you can substitute something in its place. Extras are just that. You need to do all the three levels to get a star. I bet if you delete/cross out, you'll find that you have very little left to do!
DS1 decluttered to music course, DS2 to the gym - have to go collect him now!
ETA :hello:sexymouse!

Morning all
Kitchen all done Toots
I wasn't going to do any washing today but I've done the pets blankets and then gave the machine a cleaning cycle after. Also descaled the kettle and decrumbed the toaster.
I damp wiped the living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.
Also jiggled a few things round in upstairs cupboards to make room for something else. My old computer is being mended as a spare so I want to put that away when I get it back, some time later this week probably.
Put DH's camera away. I've been looking at it hanging on the coat hooks in the hallway for about three weeks and finally couldn't take it any more. The next thing is to make him put away the fishing magazines he's finished with. I know he won't throw them out but they need to go upstairs in the drawer I cleared for them so he's just got the current ones out.
I cleaned out the fridge and tidied the freezer ready for the shopping being delivered tomorrow.
Haven't caught up yet so I hope everyone is OK.0 -
