I pay for a window cleaner, it costs £3 per fortnight - they only clean the glass though, so the window frames are filthy, and I daren't lean out of the upstairs windows to clean them. I'm thinking of getting the extending poles and doing them myself, although our window cleaner is a bit scary looking and I'm not looking forward to 'sacking' him lol!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

£3 a fortnight for a window cleaner here too, and he does do the frames (at least he does when I am home and watching!!). I live on a main road and the windows get filthy if they aren't done regularly.
My friend just sacked her window cleaner as she was paying £15 a week! :eek:0 -
£15 a week??? I'd want my whole house cleaning for that!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I used to pay £6 a month to get the windows cleaned but the guy got really slack so I 'let him go' just after Christmas.
I have since bought an extendible pole & washer/dryer squeegee thing (from B & Q) and will do it myself. My first attempt (2 weekends ago) was after a pigeon left a dirty great poo on the bedroom window!
It's OK - very easy to use but the "rinsing" bit will take a bit of practice as there are some streaks/water marks left on the windows but big deal.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
