Do you pay for a window cleaner and if so, how often and how much does it cost?
I stopped mine 12 months ago (along with the wheelie bin washer and grass cutter) to help pay off my debt and have been doing everything myself. Saving £32.50 a month in total = @ £400 per year.
But, the upstairs outside windows are really difficult to do from the inside and even the outside ones I've only done 3 times in 12 months!
So, should I get a window cleaner back and see approx. £7.50 a month added to my monthly outgoings?
I'm going to keep with the grass cutting as it's good exercise and DS helps out as part of getting his £2 pocket moneyBack on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
I think I've only cleaned my windows outside 3 times since we moved in - I'm not telling you how long ago that wasIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hmmm window cleaning there's a novel idea
As for the bin we leave the lid off when it rains

I would invest about £15 in extendable poles, sponges and squeegees and do them yourself from the ground.
I found this website with good value products that would probably last you a lifetime and once you've bought them your windows are cleaned for free.

good luck

I want a grass cutter. I would deffo pay for it as it would save so many rows in our house.
Nobody nobody nobody will do it since I broke my back. DH, DS and DD all think that long grass is acceptable and I hang my head in shame!!!0 -
