pardon the expression but those f*****s, Royal bank of Scotland have taken !!!£ 190.00 from my account in charges for unpaid DD's in teh last 2 day's!!!! Am so fed up!!!!Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0

Are you claiming previous bank charges back from this account Dotty?
If you are, send a 'request for payment' out for the £190 TODAY! If not, send one out TODAY for the total amount!!
Losing that amount of money is going to completely scupper your chances of getting back in front (obviously!), so you need to work on getting it back ASAP.
I had the same problem shortly after my lightbulb moment (in fact, my lightbulb moment happened purely because my bank 'froze' my account, as I was £1k over my OD, and refused to up it. I'd just got out of hospital the day before, and was on unpaid sick leave ), although mine were all 'excess overdraft' fees, rather than 'unpaid DDs etc' - and my bank cap excess OD fees at £150 p/month (still a ridiculous amount!) It happened four months in a row before I was able to cut my expenditure enough to stop it happening, but by then I'd lost £600, and I had had to find that shortfall as well! That was 2004 - and I've not had a charge since then, but I had a few months inbetween where it was perilously close I got just under £3k back in charges earlier this week  I got just under £3k back in charges earlier this week

Still feel a little subdued that all my efforts seem to be getting me nowhere but what else can i do?Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0

            Dotty Anne,
You HAVE TO APPLY FOR YOUR BANK CHARGES BACK. I got 150 of the co-op this week, and will be getting 872 back from lloydstsb. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS. ITS YOUR MONEY>
Have you added up all the charges? Do you have 6 years of bank statements? If you dont, you must ask for a data protection request for all of the statements back. they cost a tenner, but many banks are giving them free.
ANY money that is sat in thier pocket not yours is hard to graft back. If you have half the amount i do, imagine what good £500 will do...?
Im giving you a kick up the rear here- make this a priority!!!!!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
 This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
