 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Well done Dotty.
On the overdraft front could you work out a timetable to show them how /when you could realistically make payments, so much on this date and so much on that, so that they can see you're serious about paying, then make an appointment with the manager and explain your circumstances? It must be as much in their interests as yours to have a customer who's paying to a plan rather than struggling. At least that's what I'd say to them. You could also take along your books/accounts to show that business is improving and debts are coming down, hmm not sure if you want to show them that much. Maybe an edited version? They can't have money you haven't got but showing a plan shows good intentions and that it's feasible . They can see they will get their money.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -
Hi Dotty, no advice from me but just to add my support. We're a similar age- I'm 35- so I understand the need to pay off debt while we're still pretty young. I'll be keeping an eye on your diary to see how you're getting on!Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

Crappy week this one - im skint .............. the ggod news is that the accountant has finally done the accounts for 2004-05, Oh has signed them and were hand delivering them to his house tonight - they have a deadline of Friday........
BAD NEWS - his bill is nearly £1000...I just havent got this kind of money - i dunno what to do?
On the RBS front im going to write to them again and state that im over the O/D limit BECAUSE of THEIR charges and ask them to refund them - and send me a full list of charges for the last 6 years again.........im not letting this drop - they are being right !!!!!!....

Hi Dotty
Is this the accountant that has messed you around or a new one? If its the one who messed you around could you get him to break down why it is so much. Any chance of paying him in installments?
Have you any other bank claim charges due back or anything you could use.
I know my accountant said alot of clients pay by credit card.
Feel for you hun, must have been a nasty shock after being so pleased at getting them done
zippy x0 -
Hi Zippy - it was a shock - especially considering that it took him over a year to get anything done at all!!
I dont have a credit card anymore so no chance of putting it on this either - on a plus side the bank have extended my business overdraft until 24th December which should give me more than enough time to pay it off........
The deadline for the books going to I.R. is tomorrow so im keeping schtum until i know hes definatley met the deadline and sent them in.
