    Good idea! Yes keep schtum

Told hubby he has to get a price off our accountant, theres no way I want the same surprise. Ours are quite simple, I think! If its expensive hubby will have to do them, told him I will get him a book from the library :D

See if you can get a reduction for the messing about you have had from him. Good news about the overdraft anyway.

Hello everyone - long time no see eh? Nothing at all positive to report i'm afraid - my mortgage DD got returned again - ive had to subsidise to the business since the time off with OH's mum dying.........so the bus owes us over £950 - which would more than cover the mortgage if i could get my hands on it!!

Still no news on the books for 04-05 that were submitted too!!

Oh and to top it all off im over my overdraft at my business bank and if they dont temporarily increase it as ive requested 4 cheques will bounce too!

And.............ive had a major falling out with one of my close (well - i thought she was close) friends......

So as you can see things with me are still as shi**y as ever!!

Me too - well , the cheques DID bounce - damn n blast!! It cost me over £250 for the MOT on the car and I sill have to pay the Tax of just over £100.00 - this is turning into the month from hell.

Rang Abbey tho re the mortgage, paying in at their local branch on Monday and HAVE to have the mortgage money into account again by the 26th - am I never going to get a break?

STILL no news from the Tax Office - I hope the accounts are ok - an investigation by that lot is the last thing i need right now!!

Still not on good terms with my mate but im not too bothered as i feel she stabbed me in the back so isnt worth it anyway ....

Well the RBS are really getting me down too at the moment, i have a debt to them which was just over 4k, now with charges and interest its over 4 and a half thousand!! I'm on a DMP with CCCS and they receive regular monthly payments of just over £50 but they are charging me £68 in interest and £28 charges each month so it's just eating up any money i'm trying to pay the money off with!! Phoned the CCCS for advice and they said to write again and ask that they Default the account so no more charges and interest goes on - this I have done on Friday and obvioulsy haven't heard anything as yet? What am i supposed to do? I'm going to send the Subject Access Letter off to them to get these charges back!! It feels like im digging a bigger hole anyway! All my other Creditors have accepted the DMP payments and have stopped all charges and frozen the interest - according to the lady at the CCCS the RBS are renound for this sort of thing - werent they the ones who were on the telly lately for presurising that poor man who owed them over £100k and commited suicide?

Anyway, a little update from me - trying ever so hard to catch up on all our bills - the only 2 which are behind are to mortgage (which is being paid today), and sky tv where the D/D bounced, they will try to represent i should think.

I also need to raise £120 today for another bill - dunno if i will tho?

How's everyone else coping with the world?

Dotty your going to hate me for saying this, but i am going to anyway but are you sure that going self employed/having a business is the way to go in your circumstances? My husband is self employed and i know you have to take the rough with the smooth but when your in so much debt i am wondering if a business that you are having so much debt because of is worth having.

I am just concerened that its dragging you into more debt thats all.

Hey Judi....Don't worry about what you've said - I totally agree with you but getting this through to my OH is a different matter altogether - It wouldnt bother me if we shut shop tomorrow and went back to being employees....I'm sick of scrimping and scraping - never having 'enough' money and being late with my personal bills as a result of a.) subsidising the business and b.) not taking enough wages/drawings out - I dont know if im feeling so low as we've generally had a rough 6 months or so, or if im just facing reality but my hands are tied as it's not a decision I can choose to make on my own - I have to have my OH agree with me - I speak to him about it EVERY day but he's just hoping that Christmas will sort us out as usual - I must admit that in a way we are being a lot more shrewd in our business - but it just feels like we'll never catch up..dunno what to do for the best really?
