Hopefully if we get through any issues raised by the survey we'll be on the last leg!
I'm quite fussy about journals too- they must be beautiful so that I'm scared to mess them up by writing in them! That's why I have so many blank ones I think!!
I'm not sure I'm well enough to get any packing done this weekend which ramps up the stress slightly!

OH is helping as much as possible but he is now working full time and doing part time studies on top!
If it all goes through I think it will still be another month (could be a lot faster but I get the feeling buyers mortgage not ready until then). I've already packed most things into boxes- was just hoping to move more into the rented house ourselves rather than getting the pros to move it to storage. Ideally I just wanted bigger stuff in storage to save some money. However if I don't have the time then I'll just have to have them move more into storage.
Need to arrange for the gardener to move all my containers too.

Still so much to clear by April. I'm not sure I'll manage it with the extra costs because of moving. I should be able to clear the CC but not so sure on the OD.

Stay positive, but don't stress too much about it (difficult I know). You're doing really well.

Thanks Lemontree and SH. It's reassuring to know I'm not just muttering to myself in here!!

Nothing major showed up on the survey :j
However, they did try and drop me another 2 grand because a couple of lino tiles in the kitchen are loose, a couple of wardrobe doors have cracks in the mirrors and a drawer front keeps coming off. All of which they were aware of from viewings. I thought this was more than covered by the 10 grand drop I'd already made when accepting their offer!
I refused to budge and sweated it out for a few minutes.....sale still on!
Should all be sorted by the end of the month!!

glad the sale is still on, they were really pushing their luck!
we'd love to sell this place but because of the other folk not doing the repairs, it's really knocked the value off this place and we just can't sell at this price even if there was a mug who would buy it
