    didnt get one:confused:
  • I haven't got any of these e-mail from SP either. They send them when they require my meters readings and so they have my e-mail address. I don't think they like me very much...

whats the email to email them on? SP that is!

Log onto your account and use the "contact us" option. It's on the bottom right of one of the pages. Cut and paste what you are sending and save it as a word document for your own records.

    Dear all

I'm a bit slow on the uptake here. I'm helping my elderly parents sort out their energy bills

They, like many of you, went onto the SP capped tarrif ending this month.

They, like some of you, received an email offering them the chance of going onto or opting out of the Capped price Energy Sept 2010 tarrif.

I'm not in the UK and have rather lost track of what's what.

From lookingon the price comparison sites it seems that e on have a much better tarrif, but what is the best way to get my folks off of SP and onto E On or A N Other without incurring extra costs / charges for them?

I`ve just had a nosy at EON and they are on quidco along with sp for £62, when i look at the prices per unit for EON the prices are higher per unit than sp`s online energy saver 6 yet the web page still tells me that i can save by moving to EON

The page only lets me put in the monthly spend and not my actual usage which is annoying. I wonder if i can get the quidco by moving through them for online energy saver 6 instead of doing it through sp`s account options - after all i`ll be with sp for another year :D

Quidco discount is only for new sales not existing customers upgrading.

Thought that would be the case, shame really it may have tipped the balance.

Think i`m resigned to spending ages trawling through all the tarrifs :D

Had my e-mail also. spent ages on phone yesterday, freephone trying to get best deal, ended up talking to manager about their challenge site, it includes discounts ,not highlighted, they all seem to be pretty similar. If you change, Its only till july2010 usually, add 6-8 weeks for changeover, so you get 9 months of cheaper fuel, in the meantime SP have to compete and reduce their prices, the first to drop are usually the first to raise.Hobsons choice, i will decide monday

I had the mail offering saver 6 yesterday. It was kind of pointless, since I've switched. In fact my gas switch date is today.
