HI Happydj
I have registered, nothing to get rid of at the mo but I give the site a go next time I have something.
I particually like the feedback system, something I've often thought freecycle needed!
I am a little unclear on one point, as it's a forum I assume that all registered users won't get an email everytime something is posted but will have to check back regularly? Or have I missed something? Also can wanted adds be posted a-la-freecycle or is it just offered items?
Good luck with the site:TPost Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

Hello, thanks for the feedback - our feedback system is quite usefull, I am glad you like it.
As for the point you are unclear of, this is covered in our User Manual which can be downloaded from the site and will explain how to setup so you recieve an email once a reply is made, it can be setup in different ways for each item/post/topic - so you are always in complete control.
Heres the link to the post and where you can download or view the manual which is in our news section:

Hi Carrie,
The activation email is usually send out straight away however if you have a yahoo.co.in email address, there will be a slight delay because there is currently a problem with there mail server.
I have checked the server and the mail queue and all emails have been send (apart from 1 which is a yahoo.co.in email address), please send me a PM with your email address and registered username which you used to register on FFF so I can look into this further if you still have not recieved your validation email.
Thanks,

Is this the same as freecycle as in, can i post a wanted? Thanks and good luck. CarrieAccept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.0 -
Do you have a banner for your site, I'd like to plug it into my blog. :EasterBun0

Also, under Essex you have listed West Ham (?) and not Hainault/Chigwell. Ermm, Hainault/Chigwell is more Essex then West Ham. Although i don't mind too much as they are my team :beer:Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.0

why would anyone want to join - what makes it better than Freecycle for example?
When I go to fff.net all I get is a list of forums and absolutely no information introducing what it's there for.
If you can't articulate clearly and quickly why people should join and put it infront of them when they first come to your site people aren't going to stay.
Cheers
