Went into my local staples and they had 2, both priced at £149.99 .. with a 80gig version priced at £199.99

    I bought a 40gig one earlier today at £99.99.

The 40gig display did have the original shelf edge label indicating £149.99

The 80gig display had the original shelf edge label indicating £199.99

The 80 gig one IS NOT REDUCED - £199.99 is the correct/current price.

The 40gig one is £99.99 - as well as the £149.99 SEL, there was (should be?) an additional sales promo ticket showing the reduction to £99.99

I picked up one in Sheffield today, no card reader so it was reduced by £30, add on the £5 voucher and that's just £65, bargain! :) And my digital camera takes CF cards as well so the lack of a card reader isn't a problem.

It was the last one in the Sheffield store apart from the display model, so suggest any Sheffielders looking for one get down there quick and negotiate a discount for it being an ex-display model!

I think you'll find you need the card reader to read the cf cards as well.

I'm wondering where all these card readers are disappearing to?

Has a CF card slot in the side no need for the adaptor if you want to put in a CF card
