I bought one..........charging the battery now!, last one in newport too :-)
can I add something useful though......
you get a £5 voucher when you spend >£30
you ALSO get a £5 voucher when you sign up for a reward card (like nectar card)
you ALSO get 2% points back on a reward card
thus £88 total :-)

I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

There's only one thing that lets this device down.....and thats the fact it doesn't have a timer on the pvr, or even a 30min, 60min, etc time record option.
The s/w is revised and updated, I wonder if Smartdisk have considered this as an update file............what a machine if they did, I don't see why not?0 -
if someone zips and emails me the firmware, i'll post it up on a website for everyone

Thanks haveagoade,
Thanks for the email, just updated the firmware. Don't know what difference it will make, but hey! It's up to date. Thanks again"If toast always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet,

It fixes some bugs in firmware, I noticed a few, recording was one.0

If this is a typical example of being British today one of us is living in the wrong country.
GREED WOULD BE TO SELL FOR PROFIT........I HAVE GIVEN TWO AWAY FOR FREE,
KEPT TWO FOR MY TWO KIDS AND PLAN TO GIVE MY TWO CLOSEST FRIENDS A CHANCE TWO HAVE THEM AT THE PRICE THAT I PAID FOR THEM..0 -

Just picked up the last one in my local store. It was ex-display so they knocked £15 off! Well happy!0
