    Please confirm that the reason for buying 6 was not greed.

    If this is a typical example of being British today one of us is living in the wrong country.

    Recording resolution;

    352 X 288 or a bizarre 704 x 288!

    thats known in the industry as CIF and 2 CIF

    (common image format)

    kinda based around the NTSC picture size, its all ahout TV lines, your eye is much more sensitive to horizontal resoloution than vertical

    what you'll probably find is 352x288 will be 30 FPS or so, and the higher res will be lower FPS
    money saving my @rse.
    I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

    The latest firmware is 70. All you need to do is have the firmware located in the top directory on the hard drive, goto "setup" and "system", select yes under "Firmware", then press enter when the window pops up, to confirm the upgrade. Once its updated and switches itself off, simply switch it back on and goto the "info" section to confirm what version firmware it is using :)

    Yeah but remember to do so on mains power supply, cos if battery dies half way, you'll be in trouble!
