    Simmy's mini review :D

Well, my housemate and I bought one each yesterday and they fan-bleedin-tastic! Big thumbs up from both of us.

Here it is playing 24 :) With the 40gb hard drive, I should be able to get all 5 series onto it! Ideal for watching at the gym whilst on the bikes or something. The screen is very clear and perfect for watching a movie on. If you get a good set of speakers, you could plug them into the headphone socket so everyone can hear the audio. Would make it ideal for kids whilst on a long journey

The connections are fairly basic. Power, USB, video and and out and headphone connector. Mine came with a scart to s-video and phono converter and some very good headphones. The only downside so far is that the built in speaker is very crackly and tinny.

It seems like alot of places don't sell them, but I've spotted them on ebay for £150 odd, which imo, is still very good value for what you get. The 40gb hard drives are £50 alone.

Another useful feature is this compacct flash reader built into the side. The copy button next to it copies the entire contents of the disk onto the hard drive. It copied about 80mb of pictures in about 10seconds! It's then simple to look at all the pics on screen.

You can ask the store to look at what stock other stores around you have and may be able to find one.

If you find one with a couple in stock, look for a box with sticker on it saying it includes the memory card adaptors otherwise you're limited to CF cards only . I went back to swap mine over.
