Finally got mine after being messed around silly - shocked that the media adaptor is so huge, amused at the interface, impressed with the whole package though. Thanks to the OP - saves me spending a big pile of cash on memory cards!

What we need is some software writers to rewrite the menu and add some features like a timer record feature, I'm sure there are some guys out there who can do it as scandisk are are bit slow at this!

Unfortunately, we need the source code, and it's unlikely that Smartdisk will give this away for free. Anyway, I quite like the menu. KISS.

The main thing that I would like is a "goto" function for when returning to watch a film, as you have to start from the beginning and fast forward.

Agreed. Apart from that, I think this a fabulous bargain. I've just submitted a technical support request asking if that feature could be implemented. If a couple of other people do the same, it might just happen.... (hey, I can hope!)
