I've got 53 weeks and 1 day until I get wed......just figured out that 3 months after my birthday next year I will be a Mrs.....eeeeeppp!!!

Its getting exciting isnt it - wont be long then we will all have under a year to sort things out!!! We will all be a Mrs too - crazy!!

Got my bouquet sorted today and had my shoes delivered this afternoon.....WHOOP WHOOP!!!

Oh cool, where is your bouquet from? i have been looking online for some ideas at the moment - what flowers are you hainvg?
thats exciting bout the shoes - what are they like? I am not 100% decided with the shoes; i really would like some bright coloured shoes or silver ones... but then i see some really pretty white ones too, think i may have to wait until i do more about the dress to decide more.

I suffer quite badly with hayfever so the real flowers are out and I've actually made my own bouquet, buttons......and I think it's fab. Very cutesy!

I haven't even thought about the dress yet but as I wear size 9 shoes I needed to get the shoes when I could!

I've bought flat red t-bar ballet pumps from Barratts, shiny and lovely lol!!

Hi everyone We've booked a venue for June 4th next year, going to give notice at the registry office in 2 weeks time :eek:. Have tentatively decided on a black/gold colour theme and I definitely want a dress in those colours. Spending all hours online looking at various sites sometimes a year feels like ages, sometimes I wonder how we'll get it all done!

Congrats PeachPickle! I feel exactly the same - I know 12 months is ages away and I've have hardly done anything, but feel it might sneak up on us and will be here before we know it!
Can you let me know what happens when you do give notice. We aren't going until next month but I'm still not sure what we have to do. Feel like its going to be like a job interview or something and I'm going to say the wrong thing, lol.

Lol yeah I feel the same! Feel like I should be learning all kinds of weird details about my fiance and see if they compare notes or something :rotfl::rotfl:

We're going to have a sneaky look in the room they marry people in too if possible. At the minute we're booking to have a registrar coming to our venue but it's really expensive :eek: and if the registrar office isn't too horrific we may switch the ceremony to there

OOh black and gold very nice! will look really classy. Bet you will be able to get some nice table decorations when it comes round to xmas with gold bits!

We are going on the 29th to the registry office to have bnas read - its strange as am the same; wondering what exactly it will include etc.
am hoping we will get some information from them about readings/vows/music etc.

Just got our 'how to get in touch' cards in the post from vista :oD am very excited! they are really nice AND with a black and white mickey mouse hand it brings in the disney theme sligtly too!
going to a wedding fair tomo, so hoping for photo/video etc information to look through tomo afternoon.

It does feel likes its forever away, but then when think how quick past 6 months have gone, its just going to be crazy quick! all good though!!! :j

Went and gave notice at the registry office yesterday, first £67 of the wedding costs paid! Was oddly nervous about it actually lol

Registry office is a bit rank tho, so I'm glad we decided on our (expensive!) venue
