  • Can't believe how many of us are getting married on the 18th June - least we can all stress together!
KezKez - good luck with booking the reception venue! I would look into it ASAP as our venue was trying to book a birthday on the same day, must be a really popular date!
  • A very good date!
  • I am getting married on 21st June 2011. Is anyone else getting married on a week day ! m finding that alot of people and suppliers ared ouble checking teh date with me as they think ive made a mistake when i tell them the date as its a tuesday !!! :D
Its definately working in my favour in terms of teh budget though !!!
Has anyone got any good MS ideas on decorating the venue for the evening as Im struggling to think of cost effective ideas!!
    Now married !!! :love:21/06/11 :T.

Constantly trying to find ways to save money , look after my family the best way I can and most of all make life fun for my family and friends.
    I love entering competitions. :money:
  • What is your venue magicbunn, and what style are you going for? Our reception is at a fairly modern hotel so something shabby chic for example wouldn't really go.
  • My venue is a Masonic Hall, my colours are red and white. my bridesmaid are red dresses with white sashes and my dress will be white with red accents on it. its an l shaped room and there will be white round tables.
    Now married !!! :love:21/06/11 :T.

I'm getting married on a Monday the 20th June (my 22nd birthday coincidentally). We have found things to be cheaper as it is a week day and we gave people plenty of notice to book the day off of work.

I'm going for tealights which you can buy cheap packs from Poundshop or Ikea. And also confetti is a nice cheap decoration too. Oh and ribbon lots and lots of ribbon as that bulks things up. As my themes is red and champagne i bought loadsa red decorations in the christmas sales and that saved me a lot of money too.
