  • RainbowDrops, I'm having pangs of terror too, but unfortunately, when they subside I relax again, so I'm still not really getting very far. Just keeping thinking we have plenty of time :o

  • Hello ladies, 11th June 2011 bride here. Still soooo much to sort out, like above, I too get sudden pangs of terror then think I've loads of time, I figure I'll get there in the end though. So far I still need a dress, accessories, bridesmaids dresses, DJ/Band, flowers, cars and of course the money to pay everything off!!

Also, who else got excited at new year, as they could now say they are getting married this year?!:rotfl:

I did exactly the same thing! Kept saying to h2b "We're getting married this year!" lol
Time really is coming round quickly though, most things are booked for us now, just need to do suit fittings (which are booked in) book transport and book our hotel for the wedding night, but thats about it really :D

I'm sure it will work out, I've been told to "not sweat the details"... Easier said than done though!
and welcome to the thread monkeymonkey, we're wedding twins :j
:grinheart It's Mrs Coupon now - saving and comping my way to a brighter future :grinheart
  • Hi Monkey & Looby - welcome!

Bridesmaids dresses sorted, both picked the same one first and they were perfect! Got the tiaras for us all too, and they were 20% off. Was looking at the ones in the bridal shop, stupid costs of at least £70-80. Went to a lovely little jewellery place I know afterwards an got an absolute bargain, £40 for all three. If anyone is in the Tamworth / Lichfield area and wants any jewellery / tiaras, then I can thoroughly recommend Julia Usher Jewellery at Curborough Hall.

Had a really productive day yesterday and feel excellent for it (feel a bit poorer too though, lol). Feels like it's all coming together now, proper excited pangs this weekend :j

Finally found our oldest bridesmaid's dress yesterday in the New Look sale. Bought a red tulip shape dress (think thats what it's called :) ) so I am glad that is finally done!

Had a word with a local balloon shop and think we're going to use them for balloon decorations. She had some fab ideas for table decorations so I am stealing them ;)

Think that's about it.......21 weeks and 6 days!!
