Hi,

Hope everyone is ok?! We have fallen a few pages down, thought we needed a bump up

I actually feel like we are getting somewhere now! Went to give notice last week, didn't bodge it up by saying the wrong thing and no-one has made a complaint about us getting married yet :rotfl:

Have a meeting with a photographer next week. After spending what feels like days searching, have found someone resonably priced that will do the type of photos we want, so hopefully they will be ok when we meet them and that's another thing off the list. (I did start another thread about this and got shouted at, but I still think some photographers are a rip off)

We had a week off together last week and are both feeling extra happy, loved up and excited about the wedding :j

I had completely forgotton about giving notice, I think I am going to book this for the start of August! How exciting, it makes it all official! We are meeting our photographer in a couple of weeks and I cannot wait, he seems so nice and I love his work so it will be good to see how we all get on in person. I have my head in the cake clouds at the moment, I can't believe the choice....and the prices! Think it will take me a fair while to make my mind up on that one! I have almost finished designing my wedding stationary so thats another thing off the list. Finally my biggest triumph this month is joining the gym...and using it! I'm hoping to shape up in time for the big day, fingers crossed it will all pay off!

I'm mid trying to find my invites......found the PERFECT design to go with the theme of our wedding i this months Wedding Ideas magazine so I'm off to "steal" it! (oops!!)

Hopefully meeting our photographer in a few weeks, been e-mailing backwards and forwards for a couple of weeks and we live in the same town which is great for us!

Hi Girls

Well we have also given notice now and am also really relieved to have finally booked our DJ.

I was getting quite worried about finding one, as all those I contacted were either cheesy disco Daves or awesome but booked.
There was one guy who sings, plays the Sax. and does a disco who sounds absolutely amazing and came highly recommended, but he's booked up all the way into 2012!!!
Even better than finding one, OHs brother is paying for it as a wedding present!!! So that's another £385 saved, which we are considering spending on a wedding organiser for co-ordinating on the day.
Next job is to find a reasonably priced chair cover supplier. Have had quotes from loads, just not quite found the right one yet.

Oh and this friday I'm going for my first trip dress shopping!!! So exciting!

Sounds like everyone is getting on well with things!!
we paid the deposit for our photograher this week expensive, but we will get what we are wanting from him (full rights to all photos on a disc in high quality) with the intention of making our own albums etc as i love doing photo books!!

Have looked a little at cakes, friend at works mum used to perfesionally so think going to speak with her and see what she can suggest cost wise!
had few stresses about the money past week or so which isnt good. I havent got any sick days left at work and not very many holiday days either and i am waiting for an appointment for a broken wisdom tooth out ( making me really ill. only had two other ones taken out just over a month ago!! i am demanding they take the one thats 'fine' at the moment out as well as i cant go through this as well! think i need to raid spare room (boxes still need sorting since we moved few months back) see if can ebay few bits for spends!!!

i cant remember off top of my head how much as i cant find the leaflet that i got sent (different to online brochure) but i think it was a good price. (not 100% if we having them now though ( ) but if you are interensted send email with colours that match her list and she will send bit of material out.

Thanks hun, but probably a bit too far as we are in Sheffield and getting married in Derbyshire and ideally want the company to set up and collect also.
