Went in at £335k as an opening bid... then they chucked in an advert break to build the suspense I guess... well, the programme's dire and I just want it to be over now.

Why have prices not coming down to an affordable level then? Why are many forced to rent with very little legal rights (compared to outright ownership)?

That couple had already viewed between 30 to 50 properties. There may be no shortage of houses but clearly there is a shortage of houses that they like the look of.
